Drive until red zone showed what was open throwing on early downs all game. Then sums up frustration with 2 predictable calls in RZ against stacked box that went no where.

The defense is put in a position to be perfect every game and when they’re not people think they’re the problem. Anyone that thinks Iowa’s defense is any sort of Iowa’s problem, makes you want to question their intelligence when it comes to sports.
Yep. I have to believe we have skill position players who can make that cut.
I think the issue is the D when needing a stop v Oregon and USC failed when it really counted

In 99% of the other programs in the country you could at least take solace that a game like this, near the end of a season of let downs, would get the AD in motion to make a change. I get giving a guy like Kirk a lot of grace to go out on his terms... but I also think that's what the program has been doing the last several years. It's simply time to act Beth.
Yep, the D and special teams are expected to win every game. I'll lose some respect for the HOF if they induct someone who never understood that football is made up of 3 components
Defensive line has been our biggest drop off this year. If MSU runs that, they likely pick up the first down. Thanks, Sparty coaches.

Poor commentators, they are trying as hard as they can to put lipstick on the pig. 
They've had chances to put games away and haven't done it. They also got absolutely gashed on the ground in a number of key games. And our pass rush has been abysmal. They aren't as bad as our offense but we're a 4 loss, likely to end up 5-6 loss TEAM for a reason.
He has 20 total touchdowns on the season of you combine rushing, passing, and receiving.
No but Leistikow keeps telling us this is the best 8-4, scratch that 7-5, or 6-6 Iowa team ever
