It is sad that I actually think it looks like there are more fans there than I would have thought.

Rhule has ruined NU.

People bitched about hype. This what you get if you don’t advertise your product. I suspect the people who traveled to OKC stayed home. The early start prevented me from going.
You should never have to hype up a Nebraska spring game. We are not fvcking Kansas or Colorado.

Fans being at Houston is irrelevant. There was only 10-15k fans at Houston.

Fan apathy is at an all time low.

Me and my friends ended up not going. Normally we would have been on the road by 8am and drinking in Lincoln by 9am. But we just decided to not go this year. Rhule has ruined this.
Both sides of the East and west stadium lower levels are full. I think they shut off the end zones completely. They clearly were not promoting attendance.

Every other year since we fired Frank they promoted it non-stop. It used to be non-stop radio coverage of spring football and the scrimmage. I think the coverage of basketball stole some of the thunder. That’s good.

How does your Hawks football team look this spring? Trolling about a spring scrimmage. Get help.
We average almost 70k fans a year since 2004 if you remove the covid years. I bet you were one of the fools screaming to extend rhule last fall after he beat a handful of the worst B10 teams.

It will probably take this kind of turnout at a few regular season home games for the administration to finally get it.

If the stadium's full and our BIG checks keep coming in, what's the incentive to ever change course?

Heaven help us if the Wisconsin or Baylor jobs open up this season, this admin would probably extend him an additional 10 years. Can't let him get away.

I was a paying member on rivals since 2002 going back to the John Talman days. Your acceptance of a dog **** husker program is disgusting.

You husker board newbies probably have no clue who Talman is.
F¥cking liar.

Yes, being critical of the husker program means you are automatically an Iowa fan..... real high level of critical thinking by you husker message board newbies.

Again I paid a yearly membership to huskersillustrated and husker online for over 20 years. Ever heard of Roz, John Talman, Shortbus Taykehol, huskertimomaha, sam-iam, GAhusker, etc...

Kindly gfys

Or the program is in shambles and our HC and AD thought it was a good idea to cancel the game last year and have us watch little girls flag football....

My sister is at the game. She says the crowd is probably in the 25,000 range. She is talking to a lot of the fans around her. Here is their consensus for why the low turnout:
1. Early start
2. Little hype by local media due to basketball focus
3. Basketball burnout by fans
4. Nobody thinks the team is going to do much this year anyway. No mojo. No excitement. No player(s) anyone is really interested in watching.

Good lord, you paid money to post on the internet?

What a ******* loser.
Yes, my parents bought me membership in 2002 for my birthday. I started paying for my own membership in 2006.

Again you newbie husker message board members do not have a clue what an amazing community that used to be.

Now we resort to calling people with differing views Iowa fans. The state of Husker Fandom is at it's lowest point going back to the 1950s.

definitely one and two are the biggest reasons.
