I've followed Milton since Frost left UCF. He's a special player. I hope he gets the starting nod with FSU the rest of the season. I was hoping he would come to Nebraska but it wasn't God's will.

Rusty Medearis had a very similar type of injury when he played for the Hurricanes. He worked like a mutha to get back to playing but the pain was too much and he called it a career in 1994.
years prior, I saw a projected high school all-American after a knee injury - it looked like a war injury.
massive incision, many stitches.
the surgery advancements are really quite amazing.
he did play the next year, but not the same and college career never materialized.

That brings back memories Rusty practically beat Nebraska single handed he was a sure fire pro until his injury even though he played for Miami it’s sad he was very talented

They're live in Florida now according to multiple stories I've read both when he was injured and leading up to this last game.
his Mom has/had a condo in Orlando but they didn’t move permanently. His father mostly stayed in Hawaii, when Football season was over she would spend more time in Hawaii.

All I know is that he was a highly recruited player from NC and heard nothing about him at Nebraska after he got there, til he transferred to Duke. He didn't get to play much there, either.
Curt Dukes. He literally was Eric Crouch 2.0 with an arm

Call him out for Burrow all you want. That’s warranted. But to say he didn’t even attempt to bring Milton to Nebraska… can you cite your source that Frost never went after Milton? I’ve got to believe that Frost made a phone call to Milton about transferring. He kept in touch with him even after the injury…

I don’t mind people going after Frost legitimately, but I hate the made up parts of his failings.
Going after Milton or not....why do we not have a legitimate second option to martinez? Blows my mind watching some of these teams second string QB come in and perform at such a high level and make no excuses...and sometimes they even beat us! Fair point?

Totally fair and no disagreement with this.

Because, with the exception of 2018 when the back up was a walk on and the freshman was the starter, the 2nd team QB has been a freshman. That streak will continue next year as well.
