MC Up 28-19 3Q 4:52

[Still Missing34]

Seems most of us went to ISU together.

21-7 MTC at halftime.

[crusader_of_90]

Went back in the feed - John Daily scored for ESL - nifty play! Kid has some wheels.

This game is like watching paint dry.

[Lion4Life]

My girlfriend now wife lived at 116 W Cherry. Me, 105 W Willow. Great times.

I was at 304 N Linden....1 block north of Pub II. Graduated in 2005

Seems most of us went to ISU together.

Two years there and two years at SIUE ... there was more practical experience for a journalism degree at Edwardsville compared to more classroom/indoctrination at ISU.

Watching the Caravan score three touchdowns isn't boring. Plus, with the talent they have, ESL isn't out of it.

[Anon1711330047]

They gotta score right out of halftime

[Corey90]

They gotta score right out of halftime

? Who’s they?

[pjjp]

Something needs to happen in that locker room at half . No reason to get those typa penalties

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the ESL locker room. Would like to hear what the coaches are saying.

[rink62221]

Most seasons, if East Side could cut their penalties in half, it would never lose against an in-state opponent. But that's why you play the game.

Could be all the penalties stopping play and the "no-huddle, hurry up and slow down" offenses?

[Hilltop#1]

EFF WORD!

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the ESL locker room. Would like to hear what the coaches are saying.

Definitely some turbulence going on!

[crusader_of_90]

LOVED playing Jackson Park golf ... forget the hole, but buying "concessions" from a dude out of his truck was hilarious.

[rink62221]

ESL has 102 yards in penalties and 92 yards of total offense.

[crusader_of_90]

BIG HIT!!!!

“Stop celebrating BASIC tackles, catches, and runs”

[crusader_of_90]

LOVE THAT!!!!

[crusader_of_90]

POPS!!!!

[pjjp]

Impressive. The Flyers settled in and played some football. Went back to the run game.

[rink62221]

East Side scores quick to open the second half. Nice run by Pops Battle. Missed EXP. 21-13.

[crusader_of_90]

21-13

[Anon1711330047]

Offense did their thing now the D gotta step up

[crusader_of_90]

Keep in mind - MANY penalties were on D ... they enabled the MC offense.

[crusader_of_90]

Did the announcer just compare ESL sideline guys to yard markers due to their clothing color?

I did two tours, my second I lived at 104E Cherry, next to the gamma phi house (94-96)

Loved my neighbors!

[crusader_of_90]

WOW - ESL is cramping!

[TheWizardofWoodlawn]

So far at least, Elliott isn't better than Blainey Dowling.

Give him some credit. Dowling never faced this fast of a defense. Thunder thighs has been carrying fools all night

[eagles2k3]

unfortunately ESL is aligned horribly on most plays. On one play they had a defensive end lined up in a B gap with no one outside but a corner and a safety 13 yards deep. Not hard to beat that if you’re welll coached with good athletes like MC.

[Silver Rain]

Touchdown Caravan!

[rink62221]

DuPree 1-yd. run for MTC. 28-13 Another big penalty set up the Caravan deep in the red zone.

[rink62221]

"28-13. We've got ourselves a 16-point game here."

[rink62221]

Nice kick return for ESL nullified by another penalty. Gotta be close to 140 yards in penalties.

[rink62221]

All the penalties are making this game almost unwatchable. But at least I am not watching the Cardinals, who just lost 12-1 to the Phillies.

[crusader_of_90]

Listen to this kicker editorial ...

[rink62221]

Pops doing everything he can to keep his team in the game. 28-19.

[crusader_of_90]

Score - Martin.

2PAT ... no good. 28-19.

[crusader_of_90]

Coaching gaffe? F U.

[Silver Rain]

Still two-score game.
