hire Urban Meyer as a consultant to fix our football program. We've mucked around at the bottom of the toilet bowl for far too long. Nobody currently in Lincoln knows what it takes to win in football any more, not Moos, not Frost nor any of the assistant coaches. We desperately need somebody to fix the situation who's been there and done that before. Urban's not the coaching solution because he's in the retirement zone but he knows how to do it and has done it more than once before. He likely could pick an up and coming coach for us that actually could fix things. Don't think Moos can do it.
We all wanted Frost, myself included, but it's becoming clear Frost's systems just won't work in the B1G. An expensive and disasterous experiment - worth trying but let's face it that experiment isn't working. Frost's systems are dependent upon having players that Nebraska is not likely to be able to recruit - at least on a consistent basis. And sadly I'm not at all impressed with Frost's game time coaching and coaching adjustments.
Urban has plenty of experience in the B1G so if anybody other than Alvarez knows what it takes, it probably is him. But Alvarez gave us the Trojan horse otherwise named Eichorst so no more trusting Barry who has an agenda.
