I’m open minded and can admit you make good points. My fear is if he’s “the guy” down the stretch, in crunch time, our chances of winning goes down. If Cal runs a pick and roll with him at the end, like Tenn game, I have very little faith he’ll make the right decision or make his layup attempt.
I can’t get over his very awkward badly missed layup in last year’s tourney game at the end. It was the anti-Maxey attempt. I also don’t think he’s very smart. And this last episode, where he has very much to lose by acting like an *******, yet did it anyway by yelling at various people, further confirms my suspicion that he’s just not very smart. I already know he’s not very skilled.
All that said I’ll be right there backing and hoping he plays well. I’m not one of “those people”(the type that would rather be right with their unending negativity than having our team do well) I really do want to be wrong. I just fear, for once, I may be right.
