Hmmmmm, is this one of those cable installer rumor kind of sources?
I think he's been in Lincoln ever since he was kicked off the football team.
I believe his probation from the Cali case has made it difficult for him to transfer into another school, and it also likely forced him to maintain employment and seek a steady residence.
Keep in mind, Mo wasn't kicked off the team because of the criminal case. By week 4 of the 2019 season, Mo stopped showing up at workouts. He wouldn't follow the nutritional guidelines set by the team, and was often late to practice.
He was an elite talent with a desire to be really self destructive.
I've always said if I had a smartphone when I was 18 there would be some stuff out there (about me) I would NOT want on the internet. He made a mistake - I'm not going to judge if what he did was right or wrong.
If he IS in Lincoln (like it's being reported), it's interesting to me - He's an ex-4 star that had offers from Ohio State, LSU and Clemson - I'm not ready to call him a bust.
I didn't know any of that. Good insight.
He's a true talent. If.he gets fixed upstairs...
Washington's trouble with the TEAM wasn't directly related to his smartphone. He just didn't behave like a team player for team activities. His smartphone got him in trouble with California, not the Husker football team.I would have been kicked out of TCU if they had smart phones back then along with half the other athletes.
We were wild asf.

It's a shame that he wasted his physical talents, could have had a very successful career IMO. But he made his own choices in the end after having been given several chances. That's life.

what a disgrace to the program that the felony charge surrounding a sexual act with a minor was no problem
But by golly show up late for a practice or maybe a stirring game of dodge ball and that is where the line is drawn
shameful
I agree that big time athletics have their priorities askew - including NU.
The way I remember reading it is that Nebraska didn't know about the incident until he was already in Lincoln.
I do believe in second chances (and thirds) ...I try not to throw stones because I've done plenty in my life that I'm not proud of.
But from what others have said on the board, maybe MW doesn't want the second chance (and maybe it's not being offered)

thereShocked I tell you...lol
I wanted to write a book about my 3 years their.
In three years, TCU must not teach basic English!
But your school taught you to be a douchebag on the internet.
You have a doctorate?
Well!Yes. I’m hearing he’s getting his 74th chance to play football. I’d expect big things from him.
No, my school taught me how to read and write, figger too.
Your misuse of there/their/they're was comical after bragging of three years at TCU.
I was not first to laugh at this, nor the last probably, but, I just had to respond.

So to summarize, MoWash lives in Lincoln, but will not be rejoining the team and the thread is of the hot house rumors variety?
