That sucks ... but the important thing is that he still gets to prop up our recruiting ranking
Got a feeling we are never gonna see him play with the red N
Hope he can at least get on the right track and play somewhere. Sometimes people need to hit rock bottom before they make changes for themselves.Starting to look that way. Especially since he was expelled from Trinity Christian.
Well. The staff is still in contact and say they have a plan to get him to graduate. According to an article I just read.
I just don't trust getting academic waiver.
Actually...didn’t want him anyways.
Even if he still graduates, he won't have enough core classes to be eligible by NCAA standards. NU will have to apply for a waiver to the NCAA for him to enroll as a partial qualifier. This is similar to what the plan was for Blades last year.Well. The staff is still in contact and say they have a plan to get him to graduate. According to an article I just read.

If he enrolls in school this fall, he still counts against the 85.Frees up a scholarship!!! Winking
Good thing we let a fully qualified DT from our home state dangle in the wind until after signing day. The Ragin Cajuns will be laughing all the way to the bank. While Mr Washington is never to be heard from again

Agree to an extent. No single recruit is a make or break "must get". Still... let's not act like this isn't a loss for us. He is a real talent and you need to stockpile that kind of talent in order to return to elite status. Look at our running back situation post-Ameer: suck. You can say all you want about Ozigbo, Wilbon, Newby, etc... but they simply were not and are not elite caliber running backs. Do we beat Miami in 2014 without Ameer? My guess is no. He was a difference maker and you need difference makers.Maurice isn’t make or break. Would be a great add, but we are already signing backs for next class.

Not worried about the RB position. It's the hogs up front.
He was expelled from school with less than a week to go? This, if true, is not an academic question its a character question! Now before I or any of us take shots at him lets find out all the answers first.
But if he was expelled, it may affect the credits that transfer. In which case the character may have affected the academic status.
