I'm not trying to just be a jerk, but Hurt and Sestina seem to have a similar kind of game, but Sestina is much stronger, has more experience, and has proven he can score at the D1 level. Hurt is 6-9, 215lbs and 18. Sestina is 6-9 240lbs and 22. I'm thinking Calipari saw the writing on the wall with Hurt and that's why Sestina was signed. Hurt is good, no doubt, but if I'm choosing between these 2 guys for one season, Sestina is the best choice in my opinion.

The only 4 real possibilities are: McDaniels who most don't think will come here; Hampton who would likely goes to Memphis; Dante and Todd who would have to reclassify and are both likely to stay in 2020. As of now those are the options and no one picks any of them as likely to UK in 19.

I've just never been excited about Hurt. I keep watching videos and I have to ask what the big appeal is. Overall, I'm not convinced he's much better than Wiltjer. Seems like the perfect Duke 3-4 year kid to me.

Carey, Bolden, and DeLaurier will do the dirty work down low.

He'll play the stretch 4 and/or the 3 for them.

I've never said anything positive about the kid, so here, he can shoot and passes ok. He cant jump, he isnt fast and he's weak as a kitten. I just read a scouting report on him, he was compared to, you guessed it, Kyle Wiltjer. I couldn't care less where he goes.
