Don't believe they are staying at the Peabody. It was the "NCAA has total control" thing. Peabody folks later apologized after the onslaught from the BBN.

However you want to spin it. Good grief you people.

Let's put it this way - I don't care about Matt Jones and his entitled mentality. He's weak sauce when it comes to all things UK, and the sound of his voice just bugs me.

I came here to say "I don't care about Matt Jones". And I don't. Nor do I care about your opinion of why I came into this thread to express such non-concern.

I mean, you care enough to explain how you feel. Thats caring. Maybe you meant "I don't LIKE Matt jones". That would make more sense with your numerous responses to something you don't care about. I'd hate to see how you respond when you DO care about something.

Every fricking time theres a Matt Jones thread. [roll] Might as well be up there with "Is Richey Gonna Play?" and "Coin Toss: kick or receive" threads for predictability.

Always amazes me people come back bumping the thread just to say they don't like it.

Anyway the Peabody tweeted out their explanation.

Well, had they not found out, they could not be held liable. Peabody just doing what they're supposed to do. Great hotel. Awesome ducks.

Hat tip to the Peabody for showing class on the situation. They could of not said anything. Jones created this deal.

I've got no beef with the Peabody. Its Matt and Ryans fault for not getting an answer to the question of "can we do the show here" sooner. Really they should have lined up a local bar or restaurant so fans could join them but no biggie either way.

What surprised me was the capability to walk across the street still on the air. This was planned. A show from a Beale street corner or in front of the Forum would have been possible.

I doubt it was planned. All they need is a mobile hotspot and a pair of legs. Either way not a big deal.

First, the NCAA gestapo censors Drew Franklin of Kentucky Sports Radio and orders him to remove his lame tweet video of Lynn Marshall going bonkers and now, the NCAA cuts the live feed while Matt Jones and company are doing a live broadcast in the Peadbody Hotel. In meantime, North Carolina professors and others enabled its football and basketball players to cheat for more than 20 years all without any punishment or adverse consequences. What the hell is going on around here?

I care about defending myself against silly accusations. But I don't care about Matt Jones. If I did, wouldn't you think my "numerous responses" would be related to that idiot, and not defending my lack of caring about that idiot?

Podcast replay on todays's show is up, if ya care to listen. Jones team were squating in the Peabody. Matt knew he was getting thrown out at ~13:25 mark.

That's awesome. I don't care if you like Matt or not if you don't think that's good radio then there's something wrong with you. Probably one of the top 5 moments in KSR history.

The only thing is Matt later in the show was cursing the Peabody and he shouldn't have. They were in the right there. You didn't successfully get permission to do the show on their premises. They had every right to kick you out.

It's very common on this board to do that. Open a thread which is plainly stated what the topic is, only to take the time to comment, saying they don't care. Brilliant.
I actually thought and hoped it was about the Duke player.

Matt says they were staying across the street: ~1: 15 in the replay.
This was his plan so he could try and sell the SECnetwork to airing his show. It is so blatant.
Fwiw, I like Matt and his show because he pushes/favors the Cats.

it is pretty clear that you should have just said that you don't like Matt Jones and that you find it satisfying that he got ran out of the Peabody. The satisfaction Matt gives you through his occasional set-back makes him relevant to you. Form of care (syn - concern).

I'm just here to say that I don't care if people dont care about Matt Jones or not. My opinion of not caring is important enough that I need to post it, and you're welcome I did.
