I had a friend drop by this morning said Matt Jones got booted from The Peabody Hotel during a live broadcast. I haven't seen anything about it but apparently they requested right to broadcast from their room and the guy never got back to them and when they started broadcasting they came up and gave them their walking papers anyone else heard this?

NCAA sponsored hotels have to get all live video, radio, and broadcasts approved before being allowed on premises.
No offense taken, I was just a little surprised that something like that would happen. I would have thought that they would not have left that up to chance, must have been a little ticklish riding down the elevator with the ducks pulling your equipment with you.
They were doing the show in the lobby but they never got confirmation that they could, and security told them to leave. They walked across the street to their hotel all while still taking people's calls. It was actually pretty funny.

They asked if they could do it, woman told them she'd get back to them and never did, it was time to start the show and they went ahead and started it. ~15 minutes later some guys come up and tell them they have to leave so they carry all the stuff across the street while still on air. It was pretty entertaining.

No, they are staying in the Peabody but didn't have prior permission to do the show there. They tried to get permission but had to go on air before the woman could get back to them.
He stated it on his broadcast, the Peabody said something about CBS broadcast right etc did not catch it all. Just seemed funny to me.
Matt says they were staying across the street: ~1: 15 in the replay.
This was his plan so he could try and sell the SECnetwork to airing his show. It is so blatant.
