2. someone from the 38-1 tweeted something out the other day and also it got deleted pretty quickly

What's sad is I saw the Mulder tweet literally right after the game...but I was hardly paying attention and forgot what it said..maybe I'll remember:(

It must has been something along the lines of complaining about not playing in that game because he kept referencing the JORTS incident a few years back as a "like" situation

If I had to take a guess:

Mulder pissed about playing time and vented about it on Twitter.
Member of the 38-1 team saying "see, told you they weren't as good as us"

Didn't see either tweet, but they'd make sense in the context.

I agree with you on the mulder assertion but not convinced on the 38-1 tweet, but that's just a guess as well

What did he say was the reason for the day off the air? I think he said they got in serious trouble about something but didn't catch what said somebody did.

I had always assumed it was about him teasing about the TV show and the iHeart people had warned him not to do that.

Yeah might be a little miffed to if the guy playing in front of me drove the baseline at least 3 times and was called out by ref and turned over 3 times, had his shot blocked at least 2-3 times and being such a stud shooter as he is, Call yells shoot and don't hesitate or I am taking you out even though the kid is not much of a shooter. Yeah, might be tad bit miffed especially if this is a players program as marketed.

Cal wants to ride the kids who he thinks has the best chance of making it in the NBA..He said he would rather put kids in the league than win NCAA titles..Remember? Mulder should have played the other night..He is playing with a lot of confidence this year and unless he was sick the other night, then that has to be a slap in the face that he didn't get into the game. Cal could not have made it any plainer that he didn't think Mulder or Jones could help.

Mulder didn't play because of his defense , we didn't need scoring as much as we needed stops . Posters fall in love with shooters , to some it's the only part of the game that matters . If Mulder was more complete then he would play , the thought that Cal would not play a better player due to some bs NBA angle is bag of hammers dumb .

Can't rebound , need shooters
Don't box out , put a shooter in
Slow of foot , recruit more shooters
Whatever goes here , shooters we need more
So pretty much shooter under any circumstance , draw your own conclusions on what that says

No where but if you don't get why Hawkins plays more you don't pay attention to what matters to Cal. We have plenty of scorers Hell we hit 90 every night basically . What we need is stoppers and Hawkins is that in spades usually.

didn't exactly see Hawkins stop anyone on defense.........only I saw were some of the bricks he & Biscoe threw up
Cal needs to switch up his defense, if only for a couple of trips........anything to get the opponent out of sync

Lmao. Come on fellas, no one was playing good defense that game. UCLA's % and 97 points showed that. So what do in a game where our defense isn't cutting it? Try to maximize the offense.

Mulder isn't a Dlll level defender like some would have you believe. He's not a Liggins, but he's not Luke Kennard either. He's an average defender and we needed another shooter on the floor if nothing else to draw another defender off of Monk who was getting hot.

Obviously.

I was making a (failed, apparently) joke about the poster's point, which I took to be the reason Mulder didn't get time Saturday is because he's not an NBA prospect.

No it's not, it's the truth and it never bothered me until this Mulder situation. The guy would be a major player on most other top 25 teams.

Yep, people are brainwashed thinking every single player must be a MKG on defense or something. Lamb wasn't a great defender either, good thing he didn't play with a Briscoe or Hawkins.
