(A totally different question altogether, but why do Cyclone fans seem to be the only fanbase that speaks “acronym” when referring to their coaches? Can you imagine any Iowa fan saying CKF? CBM? Anyway, last week when they were celebrating a “great” and “unbelievable” and “historic” 2026 recruiting class (which btw ranks in the bottom half of the conference but is considered great by ISU standards), there was chatter about putting up a statue for Campbell.
Now that he bailed one day after his recruiting class press conference where he talked about loyalty and integrity, do Iowa State fans still want a statue of him? After he left the program dazed, confused, and circling the drain, is he still loved and admired there?
