The initial story was that the 2750 tons of ammonium nitrate on a Russian ship detonated. Then after the aerial photos were published, it was determined the ammonium nitrate was in the warehouse. I’m just establishing that it was indeed the warehouse which exploded. But what was the initial explosion?
I never heard anything about the explosion coming from a ship, but rushed reports are rarely accurate and I think that's what allows conspiracy theories to run wild.
I have no idea what started the fire that set off the warehouse.
I never heard anything about a ship either. The report was the ammonium nitrate they had stored in the warehouse, which was PREVIOUSLY confiscated from ship traffic. I think that is what is causing Cajun's confusion.
