UCLA survives against Northwestern. Big 10 is down to three teams - two if Bama holds on to beat Maryland

So to beat Alabama all you have to do is just stay I front of them...

Lame *** team

UCLA falling apart for no reason too.
Bruins are not really a great team. It’s just hard to beat them because Jacquez and Campbell are really solid and have played together for like 9 years. They are like the two old guys who get 30 and 15 every night in the Rec League and you’ll be damned if you know how. Rest of the team is okay but streaky.

They sure don't need another injury though. Didn't look great for that guy at the end.
Yeah Cronin isn’t really into building depth. Knows who his best players are and doesn’t shuttle them in and out just to show how brilliant he is. Works well for him most of the time, but Singleton going down will hurt them.

Maryland starting to get that “Can we go back to playing against the McCaffery brothers, Fletcher Loyer and those dorks from Wisconsin?” look in their eyes.

My picks for today:
Xavier
Kentucky
Creighton
Parlay: Xavier, Kentucky, UConn
Parlay: Xavier, Kentucky
I am heaviest on Xavier.

I like Indiana but have not placed a bet.
I like Marquette to be in the final 4 but could be a trap game against Michigan State. Tennessee over Duke yesterday was a clear trap setup and why I avoided it.

Big East rolling
Big East plays physical and has skill players. Most of the nation don’t know much about BE teams ‘cause they’re not
on espn. I look for Marquette and UConn to go far. Creighton and Xavier are streaky and never know what you’re going to get with them. But I love physical basketball. The Tennessee /Duke game was a beauty to me.

5’8” Kansas State point guard Nowell almost single handedly knocking Kentucky out. I’ve loaded up a little more on Creighton…really like them to beat Baylor tonight. Xavier was easy money 🔒

Big East POY Kolek obviously hurt & limited

Really bad break for Marquette & very fortunate for Sparty

Yes Kolek is a whiny pain in the ***, but a very good player. He looked awful today, trying to play one-handed.

Creighton playing one its best games of the season, but here comes the full-court pressure. Breaking the press not one of their strengths.

3 big East teams in sweet 16 out of 5 bids

Impressive

Takes B1G 16+ bids to match that
I think if every team played their A game, Uconn would win natty by double digits. No other team has close to their assets and depth. They are inconsistent at times

As someone else mentioned, the big east just didn’t get the air time nor respect. Polls were slobbering over the wrong teams. Uconn being kenpom 4 and being a 4 seed with identical record to Kansas is beyond stupid

Pleasantly surprised at Creighton advancing. Best they've played away from Omaha in a long, long time.

Dropping bombs in Denver. They have the Cinderella Princeton up next. I haven’t seen them play yet but should be interesting.

Full disclosure: I ended up doing a Xavier + Creighton parlay 💰 and a Creighton, Indiana, Fairleigh Dickinson parlay at +2661 that now has a real shot at hitting. Bracket is destroyed but this has been a great tournament.

UConn can go deep in this tournament. Sonogo is a beast. And they have shooters. But very impressed with the Big East. It’s good basketball. And Creighton looked good.

Did you play the money line? I don’t have the confidence to bet B10 teams, nor do I want to root for them.

I typically only do moneyline. Indiana and Fairleigh were losers but a good day overall with Creighton and Xavier my heavy hitters.

I thought indiana was the best team in the B1G all season

I thought miami was the best team in the ACC all season

both conferences sending just 1 team to the sweet 16

Few things more satisfying than watching a Big Ten media darling get run right out of the arena.

B10….8 teams, only one survives the weekend. What a joke. And Nebraska can’t even get an NIT bid from this pathetic conference.

Wow - Kansas St 1st year head coach to the sweet 16 after taking over a program with 3 consecutive losing seasons

Their athletic department cares
