If you think your guys are bad (and some are truly hilarious) ours over football are insane. We heard how bad Iowa would kill us in the bowl game for weeks and this recruting class would be the worst (finished top 10) Our two fan bases have their "the sky is always falling unless we are #1) fans that never let up.
Apparently called the Florida players "soft" during the game.
I think that most of our "star" players under Cal were aware of the Kentucky tradition and were proud (and still are) to be a part of it. I speak of players like Kat, WCS, Davis, PP, JWall, and Cousins to name a few.
I am certain that Cal is very aware of our tradition and what it means to us fans and does indeed try to make sure all our players understand it.
However, I think there are probably one or two occasionally that do not "get it" and I believe these are very frustrating to Cal - maybe even more so than to us.

Weren't you criticizing Cal on another thread, saying he's "marketing" them to the league and that "winning games is apparently secondary"?

That is the problem with freshmen lead teams. The "leaders" are 1) the players that either producing the stats or 2) are seasoned vets that get playing time and are vocal.
