Make the calls

I don’t agree with the “ideas” around changing the flag. I could go into detail but it wouldn’t matter.

BUT

I’ve just spent the last hour calling the offices of:

Cindy Hyde Smith
Roger Wicker
Tate Reeves
Rob Roberson - the man had his personal cell phone listed and answered it. Talked to me for 7 minutes and would have talked longer if I wanted to. He has my vote again unless something crazy happens.
Gary Jackson - no answer at either number
Denis Debar - looked up wrong info but called him anyway (not my district)
Cheikh Taylor - talked to him on phone just now. Super nice. Wanted to be bipartisan!


My spill:

My name is “paindon’thurt”. I am a conservative republican who voted for Donald trump, tater, Cindy, roger, rob Roberson.
I don’t agree with most people’s thoughts on changing the flag, but it’s time to change it so it doesn’t cause issues with economics and so people will be quiet abt it. Let’s change it and move on.

If you need to put my name on record as a conservative republican who supports the change, please do it.

Also I was told on one of the calls they are discussing it daily and their should be a pretty big meeting abt it tomorrow or next day.

You don't get more MAGA/KAG than ole ghostofjackie, and I'll go down the warpath to get this thing changed. It doesn't make sense any way you look at it to keep our current flag.

I am on board as well, even though some on here think “True” Christian Conservatives are to the Right of David Duke because we have strong beliefs on certain Social Issues, we can find areas of agreement with the Left of Center Independents and a “few” Libs.

Would be nice to have the state flag flying over our baseball and football games again. If I remember right, about 5-10 years ago they decided not to fly it at the games. It's time to change, it would be easy, replace the stars and bars with the seal in the state seal in the same corner, keep the red/white/blue stripes. It just needs to happen.
