  Thanks, would really like a Model 3 within next few years. I have a kid almost college age, so also waiting to see how her scholarship situation plays out. Hoping Tesla will be successful and profitable soon though.

  I’m 300 miles away from the closest service center and it hasn’t been an issue so far. (Knocks on wood)
  Tesla provides loaner cars if they repair your vehicle. I had a Model X while they performed my annual service. Tesla also has Rangers that will come to you for 80% of all repairs. Tire replacement can be performed by anyone who understands the jack points. Brake pads last 7-8 years. No oil changes. No transmission. The batteries have a coolant but only needs replacement after years of use.
