In fighting among Liberals is how we got here, so I'll stop regardless of what yall respond next. It's not productive. But you far leftists that are dogmatic in your beliefs who wouldn't vote for Kamala because of Palestine are why we are here and Trump was elected again. Far leftists who refuse to see nuance are insufferable, so much so they wouldn't even vote (and Trump was able to rally his base against yalls dogma).

I'm just sick of it- it's no different than the bs Christian dogma just the leftist version.
I voted for Kamala. I even had a Kamala sign in my yard and I've never done that before. I think it's entirely possible you have me confused with someone that you made up.

Edit - in fact, I agree those people shoulder a huge share of the blame for Trump winning in 2024. I really think you probably owe me an apology.

I don't- I've seen all of your posts on this handle and your former (which I know what it was). I know exactly how you feel and what you believe from your years of posting- you lack any kind of reasoning and nuance outside of the liberal hive mind. And tbh I agree with most of it.

But I find lack of nuance and understanding the worst trait a person can have (which is why I'm progressive and hate MAGA in the first place). You've never had nuance or understanding in anything you've ever posted in years, other than your viewpoint, which ALWAYS aligns with the progressive hive mind. I personally HATE the left has gotten to that place. It's idiotic. It's low IQ sh it.

It's fine if you're fine with it- you do you. I understand how you got there, and I've been there in other iterations of belief in my life as I've changed and grown too. But I'll call it out, as I find it unhelpful and only worsening the problems in humanity rather than helping it.

No, I just think yall's lack of nuance is no different than MAGA (just the opposite) and its akin to evangelicalism (just the liberal flavor) which is incredibly distasteful, and based on low intelligence not to mention terrible reasoning.

You're trying too hard and, yet, not hard enough. Psst ... I'm not liberal, so your virtual tastebuds are off. You keep repeating the term "nuance." It's not doing what you think it's doing. Use your words.

Oddly enough ... or not oddly at all ... @tigres88 seems to be the one who is stereotyping, and not seeing that "nuance" about which he keeps yapping.

I've dealt with him before ... he seems decently intelligent ... but just enough to get himself in trouble when going up against the really smart folks (myself included).

Imagine my shock at finding out from him today that I didn't actually vote for Kamala like I thought I had.

Work on your punctuation, kid. It's the least you can do. Then you can progress toward refraining from regurgitating the term "nuance" when it doesn't have any meaningful application to the point at hand. Baby steps. We'll get you fully functional before long. I believe in you.

I'm beginning to think he may have some kind of issue ... he's normally fine, and then he'll just go off on a blathering attack, repeating "nuance" but not making much sense. It may just be he's a bad drunk, or maybe it's a bipolar episode ... but something's not right.

If he is bipolar, that could make sense ... maybe he'll go full Kanye. Usually folks have a mental breakdown of some sort, and then they hop on the Trump train. It'd be interesting to determine when you lost your grip on reality and got sucked into the conspiracy downward spiral ...

No matter how annoying far left extremists are (and clearly they are thin skinned too and can't be called out), there is nothing in the world worst than a far right extremist like your ilk. I'll keep calling my tribe out and you can keep licking White Supremacist's taint

I'm not interested in the silly "internet support group" phraseology of your mental breakdown ... I'm interested in the reality of it ... was it a slow descent into madness, or was it an acute break based on trauma? Was it an exacerbation of a previously diagnosed condition, or was it the revelation of a latent defect?

So, when was the first time you found yourself doubting reality, and embracing "alternative facts" (i.e. lies and delusions)?

Your tribe? What was that you were saying about nuance?

You speak in fictional movie lingo ... because you're no longer connected to reality. No one's arguing with you about this ... it's obvious that you're unwell. If you aren't ready to address it, that's your thing ... but I'm not going to stop calling you on it. When you're ready to talk about when and how you broke from reality, I'll be here.

Lib judges are against America.

Leftist activist Obama-appointed judge Amy Berman Jackson just ruled that SNAP must continue to cover junk food.

According to Amy, junk food like neon-colored pineapples dunked in Kool-Aid and Cheetos are nutritious and taxpayers must continue to foot the bill.

This is the same judge who has been overturned twice so far. She tried blocking the dismantling of Elizabeth Warren’s pet project, the CFPB, and was overturned.

She then tried to block Trump from firing the head of the Office of Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger and was overturned.

Amy was also the judge who sentenced Roger Stone to prison for 40 months.

So tired of this stupid crap. All this does is teach kids that if you don’t like something someone says, cry about it enough and someone will change it for you.
About the topic of this, why the heck do families need a free handout to buy junk/unhealthy food. Be happy with what you get.
I saw something somewhere about one of the moms saying her kid’s upset that they can’t get candy now. How about being a parent and telling that kid no for a change.

I seriously don't understand this. It's a program to ensure basic nutrition needs are met for the poor. That's it. Water is all you need from a hydration standpoint. Throw in some milk for kids and cereal. Protein, vegetables, fruit and other limited food items. It should be simple and obvious to everyone.

The fact that people on SNAP demonstrate notably higher rates of obesity (44%!) than the rest of us should be a giant red flag.

As with everything Growls' posts, you have to fact-check it. She isn't promoting eating junk food, she's only reading the wording in the Act itself. If they want to change it, Congress needs to update the language.

  • Her ruling blocks USDA-approved pilot programs in five states (Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Tennessee, and West Virginia) that would have restricted SNAP (food stamp) benefits from being used to purchase certain "junk foods" such as soda, candy, sugary drinks, and similar items.

  • It invalidates the waivers on statutory grounds: Congress broadly defines eligible "food" under the Food and Nutrition Act as any food or food product for home consumption, and the judge held that the USDA and states cannot use demonstration-project authority to alter or waive that definition without congressional action.

  • Practical effect: SNAP recipients in those states (and potentially influencing others) can continue using benefits for the restricted items; the decision is procedural and legal, not a judgment on whether the health policy itself is good or bad, and it is subject to appeal.
