Years to trust his knee again? It’s a knee not a cheating spouse.
That is a HOF line right there. Well done sir.

Didn’t see that. Good pic to see what could have happened. Video seemed like he was untouchednot optimistic.. my uneducated guess is that it will take years for him to trust that knee again and play as hard. Fingers crossed, of course. COuld it be that defender stepping on his heel kept his foot from getting better positioned under his knee before the leap?

It amazes me you guys have never heard that about injuries in sports. Knees and ankles. They say that when they go on these young athletes that, until that point, the athletes never think of the joint at all.. they depend on it without thinking about it. Make it do crazy things. But after the injury things are different, even if it was repaired perfectly.Mag also has faced more injuries than anyone i can recall early in his career. Does not strike me as a guy who will holld back in any instances. Especially someone to not trust his knee for years lmao. wtf haha
Set his feet that wide? The MSU player stepped on his heel when he lifted off, causing the injury. It amazes me you guys have never heard that about injuries in sports. Knees and ankles. Now, I don't want that to be the case. But it could be. It is well within the realm of possibilities. Do you think a recovered Mag will ever set his feet that wide again putting that kind of pressure going up for a shot? I don't think so. But maybe he'll be a better player not doing so.. I do not know.
If he came back as aggressive or more aggressive from getting his teeth knocked out not once but twice I’m not concerned with him trusting his knee.not optimistic.. my uneducated guess is that it will take years for him to trust that knee again and play as hard. I called it goddamnitIf it was just like Schiano, Pike would’ve said there’s a chance he plays against Indiana then day of the game, it comes out he’s out for the season.
They probably had to wait for the swelling to go down to get a clear scan of the knee.I called it goddamnit
Tough break. But Hyatt/Oskar/Simpson are more than capable of filling in.Torn ACL, done for the year. Goddamnit
They often don't produce a lot of swelling. Sometimes don't even hurt all that much. I would bet that the trainer was 90% sure what it was in the locker room at or before halftime. They probably had to wait for the swelling to go down to get a clear scan of the knee.
For whatever it's worth Jaelin Llewellyn on Michigan went down in the game on December 4. His was more obvious than Mag's, he had to be carried off, didn't return to the bench, etc. Michigan didn't officially announce his injury until December 7. It's just how things go.They often don't produce a lot of swelling. Sometimes don't even hurt all that much. Assuming the MRI was done the next day, that's when they all knew for sure that it was an ACL tear.
We can only guess at the reasons for the delay in releasing the news to the public. But there could be numerous reasons for it, some medical, some not.

Indiana's ( official) reply to your saying they knowI think Indiana knows Mag is out
I wonder if the effort to compensate for Mag’s D is part of why PM, CM and CO were so bad tonight on O. The bench did okay. But our starters really struggled.Hopefully, tonight's performance just means we need more time to adjust. And, also hopefully, Mag has great determination and success with his surgery and rehab.
yeah.. that's what I was thinking. And maybe Caleb tried to put too much O on his shoulders. He should not be taking threes at all.. and several times he should have passed rather than shot.I wonder if the effort to compensate for Mag’s D is part of why PM, CM and CO were so bad tonight on O.
