He may even be good enough to do more than that. I think sometimes we forget these kids are playing against our starters every single day. Steel sharpens steel. While Cliff is out can we just ask Luke to use his five fouls and hack the heck out of the opposing center when Myles needs a break?
I asked in another thread, but didn't see an answer. Is Nathan the 6' 10" walk on that's been here a few years?
1.54 points per possession on D is real badHacking the opposition is an option I suppose, but in this case, not a very good option, as OSU shoots 77% at the FT line.
I was furious! Some people got mad when I said it before the season, but Luke Nathan isn’t going to sniff the court. He hasn’t gotten minutes over Douc or Reiber. He’s not playing unless there’s another two injuries
Maybe my memory sucks, but I swear I thought Luke played decently in a few games in mop-up duty and is more athletic than people think. Plus he now knows the system, so maybe he can contribute for a few minutes if needed.I was furious!

No, past years - I do know who Nathan is as I go to most games and never leave before the end, so I've seen him play several times. This year? That was Reiber
Oh, yea you're right. He played a few minutes last year at the very end and didn't look like a complete stiff. I don't think we see Nathan, but if we do, the Purdue game with multiple 7 footers would be the timeNo, past years - I do know who Nathan is as I go to most games and never leave before the end, so I've seen him play several times.
Reiber seems like a kid who should red shirt.
Are you saying Palmquist at the 5 since this is a thread about a 5? or just him in general? He is smaller than ReiberOpportunity knocking for Duke. He needs to seize it. Don't need anything extraordinary just play good D, rebound and be ready for a pass if someone is doubled by his guy on a dribble drive. I don't think Reiber is ready especially for interior B1G play at this point. I think we see Oskar before him.
