LSU is the better team with Waters but they are still staying in it without him . Still think UT will win but LSU might pull it off if Smart has a better 2nd half.
Ironically if LSU would win today it would set up a possible semi-final game vs Tennessee in SEC tournament so if we would lose at Tennessee we would get a shot to beat them in the tournament on a Saturday which would be when the win would actually still mean something and we would actually get some credit for it since we all know Sunday final games are not counted it seems.
That could be the 1 and only way we might still get #1 in South with losing at Tennessee win all other games and get to SEC Final by beating Tennessee in Semis.
So as much as everyone wants the #1 seed in SEC tournament the #2 or #3 seed actually might present a better path to a #1 seed and passing Tennessee.

Why not have both? UT beats LSU & we handle UT again we get SEC championship & 1 seed.

We are a team that can win all 3.. not sure why anyone would actively root against it.
