I wonder if it’s much louder depending on what sect you are in. I’m in 128 and I’m not bothered by the volume.
Which row, and are your seats closer 129 or 127? Seems the seats closer to the field and the sections closer to student section may not be getting blasted like the seats/sections that are on the opposite end of field from the student section and further from the field.

Row 26. Nearer to section 127.

My theory is it has more to do with what row you're in.

I'm directly across the field from you in 103 but up high in row 36 and it's insufferable.

I'm wondering if the sound travels over the heads of people in lower rows.

This article and blog post below are good reads. Someone early in this thread mentioned a distributed sound system (multiple speakers throughout the stadium) as the best solution, but doubt Rutgers can justify the $$ to invest in that.

I'm in 128 row 39, middle of the row and found the volume to be excessive, had to shout to talk to my seatmates.

Up top in the third Row of 219 and it feels like it’s hitting me right in the face.

So maybe it it does matter where you’re sitting?
