Logan Smothers Starting?

Some guy called into Nick Handley’s show on 590 today and basically said that he has a source that he trusts that told him that Smothers will be starting Friday. I’m guess his source is either Eric in Scottsdale or Sir Yacht.
If healthy there is no reason why not to give him a shot, winning or losing this game isn’t going to change our option toward the next season.
Indiana has the Fiesta bowl to lose playing this game, which is more important than the old golden bucket game..
Adrian is hurt anyway they need to shut him down let him have surgery or just heal up with time off
No offense but transter portal QB is never gonna happen and that's a 1000% guarantee and people need to quit clamoring for this because it's never gonna happen no matter how badly anyone on this board wants it to. That's why we have Smothers
A Frost has half a brain, he knows he needs to win games next year and looking at the roster, I don't trust any of them at this point. Smothers maybe at some point but not necessarily next year. He and McCaffrey need to gain weight
Are you saying that it's not necessary to try to get a transfer quarterback because we have a freshman quarterback who hasn't played a down and who, according to some on here, isn't a proven passer?
I'm saying 1000% it's never gonna happen and to think it's gonna happen, people need to come back from the delusional trip and come back to reality and can 1000% guarantee it.
You state it like it’s a fact, but you have no way of knowing that. I assume this means you like Smothers, hope you are right then. We really need to be right on a QB, like now.
Pretty dumb and/or stubborn of Frost if he doesn't go after a transfer quarterback, in my opinion.

Not delusional to think he should explore the portal. Frost needs a reality check if he thinks he doesn’t need a proven passer.
I saw the kid play live last year and video is a joke when it comes to seeing a players true talent. Smothers is a hell of alot faster than the video shows. Like I've said before with Smothers, if I have to compare him to anyone it would be a cross between T-Mart for his speed and Milton for his field awareness, passing and a well above avarage ability to read defenses as well as lightning fast deliberate decisiveness. Yes Smothers is faster than Luke and a better runner as well. Smothers has almost the same sick top end gear that Taylor had, not quite but damn close and very dangerous in the open field as he posesses ankle breaking moves and when he runs, he looks like a cross between an RB and receiver. Logan is taylor made for this offense as the one he ran in HS is almost identical to this one except the terminology. Let's just all pray he stays healthy in his time here.

I was just speculating, they said he hurt his shoulder in the Purdue game and couldn’t throw for beans in the Minnesota game
Frost should know that AMart has been injured his entire career therefore he needs to start exploring options in the portal.
If Adrian hurt his throwing shoulder again, wonder if he considers hanging it up. Would be the 3rd time for that shoulder right?
Medical exception would be the most graceful way for him to exit. I think it's what he wants too.
Get him in now . . . he'll never be better than he is at this moment. The longer he is hear and subject to "coaching," the worse he's going to get. Believe it.
we need to get smothers out there and see what he's made of. then we need at least 2 more qb's from the portal to create some real competition. not having anyone able to see the field and throw a pass over 20 yards has been a true roadblock to picking up some wins
You know the 1st play is going to be a swing pass. If Smothers can complete the swing pass and the receiver can go at least one yard then it will more of an accomplishment than normally what has happened all year.
