Basketball LIVE GAME THREAD: Rutgers vs. No. 22 Illinois

[Rokodesh]

ILLINOIS has about 15 travels so far

[carmenst]

RU 22 ILLINI 21

[bac2therac]

Tournament type game

[RUTBAY1]

Good news is they are not down by 16. So there’s that so far.

[Night Man]

Yeboah bailed out by the foul but he could have just as easily had his pocket picked clean. Needs to have more awareness of all 10

[BillyC80]

Nice play Kwasi to Paul for the finish. Geo with the 2. Back up by 1, 22-21.

[czxqa]

Caleb did get away with one too earlier.

[richthedentist]

These refs are absolutely horrible they have Missed 6 travels On Illinois

[carmenst]

7 minutes left in H1

[iMigz]

Ron is 3-3 from deep so far!

RU shooting 41% as a team to lead 22-21

Missed calls by refs for traveling aren’t helping but decent start.

[nutfromSEC117]

4 steps while running out of bounds !!!
F-in absurd

[ScarletDave]

Illinois player took not 3 steps (travel), not 4, but FIVE and maybe 6 steps down the sideline, then foul called on Yeboah. Right in front of the ref. Then Underwood has the guts to tell for a travel on Geo’s completely legal 2 steps. Unreal.

[Pancho1939_rivals]

Really fun game. Both teams hitting shota

[RuBird]

So much for home court refs. Blind as Helen Keller

[FrankZ_RU93]

Lol at that walk no-call. I mean good grief.

[RobotHunter]

Guy seriously took 5 steps before the foul.

[BOCA93]

Refs are calling a decent game with fouls but the multiple travels have been blatant

[BillyC80]

Despite everything we’re up 1 point in a real barn burner so far. We’re usually better in the second half so if it’s tied at halftime I like our chances.

[RUsince52]

Young is out of control and a one track mind, so far.

[BillyC80]

Harper hot so far!

[Pancho1939_rivals]

Where is that foul. Underwood must prep refs before game

[RU Mike73]

Cockburn is a beast.

[BillyC80]

Carter needs to foul hard there.

[BillyC80]

Felix with 2 fouls.

[RUsince52]

They have their own MJ at the FT line too. Hi poop e they keep it up.

[BillyC80]

Carter sinks both from the line.

[BillyC80]

Great defense!

[RUsince52]

Guess they don't practice that play too much.

[motorb54]

Their center must have watched film from Shaquile O'Neal = use your butt to move the defender

[RU Mike73]

28-23 RU on great pass by PM

[BillyC80]

Paul with the sweet assist to MJ.

[koleszar]

3pt. D was good and they still make them.

[czxqa]

Mulcahey has been great today

[BillyC80]

Geo with the answer. This is a very good game.

[bac2therac]

Felize with 2 hurts them

[FrankZ_RU93]

Find Harper when he’s burying shots please

[soundcrib]

Gonorrhea is hurting us.

[Pancho1939_rivals]

Every time cockburn gets any contact they call a foul. Kind of crazy

[RU Mike73]

Let’s open this up over last 3:36

[bac2therac]

Smelling marijuana in 212...again..wtf
