Basketball LIVE GAME THREAD: Rutgers vs. No. 22 Illinois

[sport2231]

We need Harper to not be terrified of shooting open 3’s

[Rokodesh]

Cock burn travels more than james harden

[bac2therac]

cockburn is twice as tough and a much smarter player

Hes just a better player despite being 2 years younger

[Night Man]

cockburn is twice as tough and a much smarter player

And not bound by the rules of basketball thus far

[sport2231]

We need Harper to not be terrified of shooting open 3’s

[richthedentist]

These refs suck already have missed 4 travels just ridiculous

[RUsince52]

One Illinois guy who missed the shot and he gets the rebound. Have to body up against somebody underneath.

[GoodOl'Rutgers]

okay.. timeout.. sneak Myles out...

[bac2therac]

Need to limit these 2nd chance shots..getting burned

[Rufaninga]

I like that we attacked the rim on that break.
Be aggressive ,get to the rim and draw some fouls

[RUSCFORMERLYRULOU]

Need to get Myles involved.

[Rokodesh]

Need to limit these 2nd chance shots..getting burned

it helps when the other team doesn’t have to dribble when moving

[Night Man]

Not calling Cockburn for travels is a major risk of a double-whammy if we subsequently foul him

[BOCA93]

Cockburn is dominating. Hopefully they can draw some fouls on this dude because when he’s on the floor he’s like a man among boys

[superfan01]

These refs suck. Blanted travels there missing. Terrible calls and we’re just 8 mins in. It’s like game is too fast for them

[Rufaninga]

Need to get Myles involved.

He's going to be worn down from.his defensive assignment. I don't expect a bunch of inside scoring from him today

[RuBird]

8 minutes refs missed easily 8 calls. Boggles my mind

[BillyC80]

Caleb not his finest moments but he’ll be back to contribute.

[sport2231]

We need Harper to not be terrified of shooting open 3’s

let’s see. What else do I want

[ballgame4u]

love seeing harper making shots..hopefully it gives him some mojo to take some more

[tfio]

Can we stop with the fake shot clock countdown from the students now that they've drilled 2 threes while doing it

[BillyC80]

Paul... then Harper!

[RU Mike73]

RHJ and great hustle by PM

[Rokodesh]

Harper is going Super-Saiyan this half

[Mr. Magoo1]

Harper is back the to fro and it’s helping .

[bac2therac]

Jacob bad so far

[BillyC80]

Take Young out.

[carmenst]

Both teams are playing a physical game! RHJ with another 3.

[Mr. Magoo1]

Young has to get out

[BillyC80]

Two on Williams.

[richthedentist]

How do you take Harper out he’s been my best player

[Night Man]

Young's doing very well on defense, needs to adjust his trigger that's all

[Rokodesh]

How do you take Harper out he’s been my best player

needs a breather

[Night Man]

Yeboah definitely fouled him but - surprise - he walked first. Double whammy.

[Mr. Magoo1]

How do you miss that

[BillyC80]

Obvious walk not called.

[RUfromSoCal?]

Wtf

[BOCA93]

Be nice if the refs called a travel once in a While.

[Night Man]

another walk, time to keep count

[czxqa]

Yeboah definitely fouled him but - surprise - he walked first. Double whammy.

If they call the travel like they're supposed to the foul nvr happens
