Football LIVE GAME THREAD: Rutgers vs. Maryland

[ScottRU93]

Guy is in an absolute no win situation. He deserves credit for even taken on this responsibility

Problem is you are seeing the effects of all the other *** hats that Ash hired including Okruch, Special Teams etc. Nunz is stuck with all these loser Coaches. No wonder Meyer was so quick to let them all leave.

[bossnj1]

Cannot take this out on Nunzio, he wasn’t given much to work with nor much time to do it in.

[MadRU]

Situation became even tougher when the starting QB and the supposed #1 offensive weapon bail on the team late.

[RUboston]

That's a forward pass?!

[cubuffsdoug_rivals]

This program needs a Schiano flavored enema

But Hobbs is fighting it. He's not completely sold on the idea of bringing back Schiano.

[Caliknight]

Are these division 1 athletes?

MAC level

[Rufan922]

The guy who got burnt on a 80 yard TD pass? His hustle?

Getting beat isn’t an excuse to give up on the play

[RUSK97]

WTF

[RUsince52]

Penalty on the official, 12th man for MD.

[sct1111]

This game is so f#cking weird.

[R U Crazy]

Are we sure Ash really left or is he still down there

Maybe ASH is in the tunnel wearing a wig and fake mustache

[RUhasarrived]

I stayed home at the last minute.Best decision I've made in a while.

[ScarletDave]

There was no whistle and the ball was snapped how in the heck is that not a live fumble !!!!! Come on !!!!

[rurichdog]

[Caliknight]

The refs are as bad as these teams.

[Knightmoves]

Ok think we’ve seen enough of Langan.

Can we start warming up Cole Snyder?

[RUboston]

RU must be one of the easiest teams in the country to defend. So many plays/players that don't cause any concern.

Not a lot to worry about.

[Rutgers25]

Holy crap, Langan is worse than I thought. Really slow. Just play Pacheco at QB.

[RUSK97]

In theory isn’t the defense intact?

[Bababooey_Class'80]

Anyone know the over/under on how many times Nunz spits on the field?

[sct1111]

Langan looks like he's playing the wrong position. Like we ran out of QBs and we're starting our third string middle linebacker.

[Scarlet_Scourge]

SACK!!!!

[Barnaby&Neill]

Defense looks to be playing pretty hard

[RUSK97]

Nice pass rush

[BigEastPhil]

Some more cowbell please!!!

[R U Crazy]

Looks like we are actually trying to block punts.
Maryland spying on QB now....surprise is gone.

[RUboston]

Come on, this isn't Pat White at QB.

[BigEastPhil]

Langans taking too many hits.

[Caliknight]

Langan looks like he's playing the wrong position. Like we ran out of QBs and we're starting our third string middle linebacker.

He is our third string QB.

[Scarlet_Scourge]

Trying to get them to jump offsides

[Barnaby&Neill]

Delay of game on every punt?

[RUSK97]

Equipment manager put concrete in Langan’s shoes?

[Block R]

Delay of game on every punt?

At the least the second one was intentional.

[Rutgers25]

Equipment manager put concrete in Langan’s shoes?

He’s more of a bruising runner...like a fullback.

[RUsince52]

It's going to take a lot of FDs for us to score anything unless we break a long run.

[Salvi's Headband]

Love that we're actually getting pressure on the QB today. Gee we coulda won this one if our QB1 and RB1 didn't quit on the team.

[brookdale-soda]

Did I just see an attempted punt block?

[RUSK97]

Shocker - went to block the punt! First time in seasons.

[Knightmoves]

Shameen Jones makes a cameo with his first catch of the year.

[zebnatto]

We gotta have ONE big play in us, even a fluke.
