I don't like this move. The Lakers was Kobe's thing. I just wish Lebron would go somewhere and make his own path.
The Heat was fine but I feel like Lebron should have stayed in the East, maybe Philly.

If it was a family decision on where the kids wanted to be then fine. Just not a fan of it.

The pistons literally tried to end people’s careers. All the players whine and complain now. Not necessarily the Spurs but Euro players started the flopping in the NBA, must have brought it from soccer. lol. Duke perfected it in college. Duncan didn’t complain near as much as he just got that “are you kidding me” look.

Man I liked him at one time and it's gone. The guy is not the type I thought he was. It will be hilarious if Cleveland stacks the deck and LeBron wants to "go home" again. It's just a joke at this point.

I bet Jordan is all smiles today. Laughing over his eggs. Then crying for no reason at all.

I don't hate Lebron for anything, but the spectacle of when he went to Miami was really annoying and made a lot of people hate him. What he did this time was a lot better and frankly what he should have done. I just don't like it where Kobe just retired and he comes to LA as soon as he retires. Any other team would have made sense. Boston, Philly, whatever.

LeBron messed it up. Should have stuck with Isiah Thomas with the rest of the cast. Would have been better for it Imo

How the heck can people criticize Lebron for switching teams when we root for UK with players whose program loyalty is less than 365 days?

I already had to go through this once and I thought I would never have to go through it again. When LeBron wrote his letter he said he always knew he would come home some day and finish his career in Cleveland. I guess he forgot. I get that things got F'ed up in Cleveland but LeBron clearly was part to blame since Kyrie refused to play with him again. Once we lost Kyrie the writing was on the wall.

All that said I am likely not going to care about or watch the NBA until LeBron retires. The fact that the Cavs will suck beyond all belief for the foreseabale future will help in that cause. I didn't watch much of the 4 years he was gone except here and there at the ends of the finals games just to hope he wouldn't win a championship. Actually I rooted for him in 2013 when he won his 2nd the only time I did so but that was because I thought he might actually come back if had won a couple championships. Now I know he is never coming back or if he did it would be a washed up LeBron to finish his final season.

I won't watch but I am now a fan of the 29 teams not named the Lakers even the hated Warriors who I can't stand.

Yeah, that didn't happen. Kobe retired after the 2016 season. Also, who cares? What does Kobe's 2016 retirement tour have to do with anything? So bizarre.

I can't believe how many people fell for Lebrons letter. It was never about going home, the roster was better suited for a run. I knew he'd jump as soon as he felt a better opportunity. The guy has no loyalty, and he's hurt his career and legacy for good this time. Hate it for him, but it is what it is. Joining the Lakers in the era of GS will ruin him in the end. Not to mention now He'll be compared to kobe's era which will hurt him even worse.

It was 2 years. I swear you are constantly on Lebron. I told my opinion and I don't like the move for Lebron for Multiple reasons:
1. I wanted a West(Warriors) vs Lebron in the Finals
2. Lebron has always been in the East
3. Kobe retired 2 years ago. I said he just retired. Not like this year but 2 years ago. To me that is just retiring.

Certain players define organizations Kobe and Magic - Lakers, Derek Jeter - Yankees, etc and I wouldn't like it if Jeter retired and then the best SS in baseball came 2 years later to take his spot. But that's just me.

BUT if it was strictly a family decision because his wife and kids wanted to be there then I get it.

^ I took "as soon as" at its actual meaning, rather than the way that people use literally nowadays (as a synonym for figuratively), but thanks for clarifying.
