His kid is skipping 8th grade and his family wants to be in LA and I'm sure school/basketball is better in LA
Tough to take. Not sure how to feel. The end of an era for the 2nd and final time. I stopped watching the NBA the first time he left and will likely do it again.
LeBron was a once in a lifetime generational talent that was from here. We will never see nothing like this again in Cleveland.
I don't think I am going to be able to stomach another NBA game until LeBron retires. I really wish things did not go so wrong for us in the final 2 years.
It all started with Durant going to GS once that happened it ended all hope for the Cavs to win another championship. Pile on letting our GM that brought us a championship walk then sending Kyrie away and you just knew things were never going to be the same.
Hopefully someday the Cavs will once again be a championship contender but that seems light years away and will never again be the same. We finally had our own Michael Jordan and he was from home.

Doubt the 76ers bow to them that easily. I think they will alternate title appearances. Whoever wins the east this year gets an *** kicking from the Warriors.
I want Boogie to stay in NO and them to get Ulis to back up Rondo and keep Rondo. I could really cheer for that team. Lebron is a great player but I can't stand his whiny ***. A sign and trade with Boogie going to LA and Randle coming to NO would be interesting as well.

I don't mind him saying he'll go to Lakers. But idea of just sitting...that should result in some kind of suspension from the league office that extends beyond next year.
Cool, hope they get Kawhi, Boogie, and call about Booker (unlikely but since he’s unhappy in PHX, who knows)
In my eyes , I'm barely an NBA watcher , the whole lack of loyalty just bothers me . I grew up in the 80's .. Pistons , Bulls , Celtics Lakers -- none of those guys would ever consider joining the enemy . Or changing teams so flippantly .
I think lebrons journeyman ways are what will prevent him from being “all time greatest”. I don’t blame him though Cleveland is a dreadful place to live and he is ultra liberal so LA will be a better fit. Good luck to him.

MJ didn't whine, didn't flop and didn't argue complain to the refs after nearly every play. Duke started flopping long before the Spurs did, and I don't think Tim Duncan is much of a whiner. Other than that, I agree with your post wholeheartedly.

Tim Duncan is the biggest whiner of all time. He never committed a foul in his life. Any time he was whistled he ran at the ref, grabbing his head with both hands and his mouth wide open in disbelief.

You must be young. Rick Berry complained constantly. Michael only complained about the Pistons because they were trying to injure him, Duke was flopping in the 90s and Tim Duncan doesn't complain as much as Lebron.
This move ain't about basketball imo. At least not his career. I have been a fan and wondered why he had all these haters. Pretty clear now why folks feel the way they do about him.
