True that. With three titles already under his belt, you could do worse than choosing to hang out in L.A. for three years and then reassessing things. Plus the Lakers aren't done. LeBron wouldn't go there if he knew he'd be the only major star joining them.

I’ve always been a laker fan ..... since around ‘78. I honestly don’t know how I feel! I know Lebron is the so called “king” but I remember the good ole days of Lakers Basketball ...... the original “ShowTime” days of Milkan, Chamberlain, Magic, Jabbar, Kobe, Shaq, McDoo, Nixon, Rambis, Wilks, Worthy ...... if your old enough you know the rest. I respect Lebron and all he has accomplished but I guess it will have to grow on me! Sorry but it just might take a while.
Lebron was a free agent and had a one hour special on ESPN to announce where he was going and all the proceeds went to the Boys and Girls club. That's it, it made a bunch of people super mad, he was the most hated athlete in America.

I truly think when he’s healthy they will be shopping lonzo and the circus that comes with him. I don’t see Lebron going to la to put up with that headache. He will have him moved somewhere else. I’m sure it was brought up when he met with Magic. Lonzo is a good player, but Lebron can win without him and his dad

LaVar was on the “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” radio show recently, and was asked how LeBron could help his son if they did become teammates.
“Can LeBron teach him what?” LaVar said. “No, he can’t teach him nothing. I already taught him everything.”

I know where you coming from with this, but what stuck in a lot of people's throats about that, beyond the narcissistic quality, is that in retrospect, LeBron knew all along (as in months ahead) that he was going to Miami. Dragging it out and making it into a production was pretty harsh for Cleveland.
In this case, anyone criticizing LeBron is just a hater idiot. This is a last stop in the career choice for LeBron, because it's where his life will be post-playing career. It's NOT a ring chase move, as there are far better options for that elsewhere. And a note to the people saying "oh, he wouldn't go there if he didn't know other stars were coming"- LeBron went there BEFORE anyone else, and yeah, other guys probably are coming, because the LAKERS ARE SUPPOSED TO TRY TO WIN.
Are they supposed to just sign LeBron and say "we have him" the idiotic way they did with Kobe at the end of his career? No. They have a window now, and they're going to try to take advantage of it.

this is all about lebron positioning himself for after basketball. he's already producing movies, now he can focus on developing his next career.
oh and nice chess move, lebron. making cavs trade from larry cance and jordan clarkscan to clear cap space LOL
Unless they get another piece, Philly isn’t beating Boston. I guess Fultz could suddenly turn it in on but Boston will also be getting their two best players back. The Finals will be much more competitive than they have been.
