There's a two page thread about this on the premium board that was started last night.
Yes.Its a tough challenge for Pike to have to replace existing rosters guys with recruits available during the Spring signing period. We were fortunate last year with the Gettys pickup. But can we expect to repeat that success this time around ?
Yes.
Recruiting during this time of the year is equally as important to recruiting the rest of the year.
With 700+ transfers, some of them available to play immediately, and spring signees you have to be ready and in Laurents case I know RU was.
With all the transfers happening at all levels of college basketball Rutgers should be able to find a center and a shooter for the small forward position. My concern, however, is the loss of 20 points with the departure of Gettys and Johnson. The replacements must have offensive skills because Rutgers had a difficult time scoring 60 points with Gettys and Johnson. There is very little margin for error with next seasons current squad. Its a tough challenge for Pike to have to replace existing rosters guys with recruits available during the Spring signing period. We averaged 65.5 ppg this past season.
That average included out of conference games where Rutgers was able to run up the score against very easy competition. We averaged 65.5 ppg this past season.
60.1 points per B1G gameWould like to know our scoring avg in B1G games. Would expect it to be lower than 65.
We don't do this kind of thing here.verbal commits who usually gets their information from recruiting insiders and many sources.
Any news on Doucoure reclassifying? Is it a matter of open scholarships or academics at this point?
I believe the Mods said 80-85% chance it was happening on an ATSA long time ago I was told that it was only a rumor that there is no truth to Doucoure ever re-classifying.
