Is there anything Pike doesn't f75k up. What an incompetent.
If you have an extra million for an undersized center that can't play defense you could have sponsored him.Is there anything Pike doesn't f75k up. What an incompetent.
It was beyond fu**ing dumb. Chow does nothing but spew invectives all the time! What a dumb ****ing post
This. He is not worth what he is asking forIf you have an extra million for an undersized center that can't play defense you could have sponsored him.
Simple minded people just looking to place blame. Why is everyone blaming Pike? I guess the lack of NIL has no part in this. Rutgers fans have deep pockets, but short arms. They don't have the ability to reach deep enough into those pockets to grab the money.
100%, Find a center that plays defense. Last year was a failed experiment. Go back to what works. Be a top 10 defensive team, run and be a fast break team. If Pike doesn’t figure it out, move on.If you have an extra million for an undersized center that can't play defense you could have sponsored him.
Simple minded people with "look at me" postsSimple minded people just looking to place blame.
Chow needed another "Look At Me" thread! We couldn’t just put this in the thread that’s specifically about Lathan transferring?
Why don't you respond then with the things he does well. I'll wait.It was beyond fu**ing dumb. Chow does nothing but spew invectives all the time!
I expect that from hopper. He's not too bright. Not from a guy I have some respect for Bac.OP is a dumbass
OP is a dumbass
Says the guy who gave Pike a lot of credit for making the Big 10 tournament 5 years ago. I'll keep knocking Pike. You keep knocking 18-22 year old kids if it makes you feel better.I am not sure why RutgersChow has an alternate account called RUChow but I do know that he is a ****ing idiot on both of them.
Pike actually fixed his mistake of allowing Sommerville to dictate who he could recruit. Pike letting him walk is fixing that mistake. If Sommerville can con some team into giving him seven figures then good for him. I hope it's another B1G team. We'd be winning 3 ways.This. He is not worth what he is asking for
If Pike paid him what he is asking, then that would be the F75k up
They want out because they aren't getting the money they think they deserve. Not from us. Read between the lines.I love the take "Pike let him go." These kids want out.
He was a freshman who already had a better offensive game than Myles and Cliff. He has defensive upside with the right teacher. If you have an extra million for an undersized center that can't play defense you could have sponsored him.

You really think its only about the money, and they all respect his ability to make them better? OK then. They want out because they aren't getting the money they think they deserve. Not from us. Read between the lines.
You were arguing in SUPPORT of Pikiel. It would have to be serious, and it was.Again, the fact that you think I was serious when I said “Pike made the Big Ten Tournament” when talking about the years that everyone made it says a lot more about you than it does about me.
There is not another poster on this website retarded enough to think that was a serious comment.

I'm sure the money is important, but it started with EO, who couldn't believe how much basketball he learned at Oregon. A lot of guys see where the program is going and have simply lost respect for him as a coach. I don't see where this is surprising.Hell yea it's about the money. @Richie 0 already stated as such regarding Lathan. As a Rutgers alum I'd love it if Lathan went to another B1G team for $1MM. We win two ways. Not paying him, and getting score at will on him.
Sorry, suck up to it. And by the way, Waters was a better couch than Pike. No, you absolute ****ing moron. The conversation went like so:
You: Waters was more successful than Pike at Rutgers
Me: WTF are you talking about idiot, Pike made the tournament here and Waters never did
You: Waters made the NIT, that is a tournament
Me: Good point, maybe we should count Pike’s Big Ten Tournament berths.
I was MAKING FUN OF YOU which was apparently a mistake because you are literally too stupid to insult in any way more complicated than just straight up calling you an idiot
My god man
when it first happened I agreed. But the reality is Lathan wasn’t a very physical post presence on both the offensive and defensive end. If Manny keeps developing he will be more of a net positive than Lathan could be. Doesn’t change the fact they need another 5, but Somerville isn’t a Pike
I agree, and maybe he can turn into a Julian Reese or Trevion Williams type player, but I don’t think spending a ton of money on a to be sophomore Center in the big is smart….especially when we have limited NIL as isSomerville was only a freshman, he has enormous potential. Maybe everyone criticizing him now makes some feel better for losing him, but i seriously doubt his replacement will be anywhere near as good.
Here, you can stop waiting and go back to smelling your own farts. Why don't you respond then with the things he does well. I'll wait.
Incompetent is fans not seeing a tweener who was a round peg trying to fit in a square hole. He was not a fit for Pike's system and only about NIL. He was leaving no matter what type of season RU had.Is there anything Pike doesn't f75k up. What an incompetent.
That's your opinion. That's not a fact. What is a fact is Lathan left for a pay day, one Pike wasn't willing to give him. You can say that's a mistake, but I say it's not. Lathan isn't great. I'd take my money and chances elsewhere.

He had very little defensive upside, and only scored like 4 points per 40 more than Myles did his first year. Myles shot 5% better, averaged 8 rebounds per 40 more, more than double the assists and blocks. The two don't really compare. Lathan's best quality is his ability to draw fouls and his FT shooting. He was a freshman who already had a better offensive game than Myles and Cliff. He has defensive upside with the right teacher.
