I read last week his dad said he put off announcing to see who the new coach would be at UofL.

UofL's people told him a week before Padgett was let go that he wouldn't be retained. So the Langford's said their son wants to play close to home, but if UofL didn't hire the right coach, then their son was going to stay in-state and go to IU.

Take it for what it is.

We're going to have to platoon if we grab Langford and I'm not entirely sold on that idea. Plenty of teams make it happen with only 6 or 7 guys taking 30+ minutes.

We have two point guards in Green and Quickley, two spot-up shooters in Herro and Baker, and then two SG/SF types in Diallo (if he comes back) and Johnson..

I don't see Langford making us THAT much better. If anything the minutes dispersion becomes an issue in keeping players warm.

I basically hear this everyday for months living in the New Albany area. Its either UofL or IU. IU was the favorite.

Guys romeo is going to Vandy it's a done deal ! The reason he hasn't came out is he don't wanna deal with all the fans that are ticked off he's not going to IU.....I don't claim to know a lot with all these sources but I know this is 100%

To me, this is accurate. If he had to make a decision today vandy would be the call. But he's having a hard time telling IU, no.

Seriously? Since win did vandy start getting elite talent? Sounded to me that's where ej was likely headed. How? Why?

And this makes this more believable how? You better hang on to your milk money......the lunch lady probably won't give you credit. The only thing you have proven is that a fool and his money is soon parted. How much can you lay on the table.....I ain't talking about BS......I am talking about cash........

A friend of a friend of a friend who works in IU's athletic dept. told me Romeo's girlfriend just transferred to IU. Take that for what its worth.

IU won't be very good. He won't have to share the ball so much. He can score lots of points and have a short March next year. Translation: High school senior now to multimillionaire in 12 months.

It did. Mom didn't like Cal.

Demling is now saying UofL is no longer an option for Langford. Dad didn't like Mack.

I hate it when I read about parents. Makes me think they have their hand out while exploiting their son.
