I read last week his dad said he put off announcing to see who the new coach would be at UofL.

UofL's people told him a week before Padgett was let go that he wouldn't be retained. So the Langford's said their son wants to play close to home, but if UofL didn't hire the right coach, then their son was going to stay in-state and go to IU.

We're going to have to platoon if we grab Langford and I'm not entirely sold on that idea. Plenty of teams make it happen with only 6 or 7 guys taking 30+ minutes.

We have two point guards in Green and Quickley, two spot-up shooters in Herro and Baker, and then two SG/SF types in Diallo (if he comes back) and Johnson..

I don't see Langford making us THAT much better. If anything the minutes dispersion becomes an issue in keeping players warm.

To me, this is accurate. If he had to make a decision today vandy would be the call. But he's having a hard time telling IU, no.

A friend of a friend of a friend who works in IU's athletic dept. told me Romeo's girlfriend just transferred to IU. Take that for what its worth.
