He could always change his mind about LA if he likes Boston. That is true about the Knicks though. Why would Boston trade good players for a 1 year rental? Also New York lit has no good players atm lol

Idt Boston would give up tatum and pieces to try and change AD mind. JMOHe could always change his mind about LA if he likes Boston. That is true about the Knicks though.
Anybody who thinks this is the most the Lakers are offering is deceiving himself.
Then you do not understand how the NBA works. NO does not have to do a thing. A team will be willing to give up starters for a one year run at a championship. No I am not wrong about leverage. No has zero leverage in a trade because they know AD is gone one way or another. Teams could just wait a year and they would be desperate to get anything for him.
Boston has a backup at every position that could be starting. So relieving that logjam may help improve chemistry. The problem is those other teams do give a crap where he prefers to go so Boston or New York are more reluctant to give up a lot if they know he probably isn’t going to resign.

Hayward- Tatum
Irving - Rozier
Brown - Smart
Morris - Ojelye
Horrors - Baines
Then Boston has several first round picks.

And if anyone thinks AD goes to Boston and the win the championship, that AD would then leave for LA, that person is fooling himself.
LA cannot afford AD - well they can, but not when they have to resign Ingram, Kuzma, Hart, Ball. Subscribe....Each of those guys are $15/20 million players in this era if NBA.
So you lose them anyway. Might as well trade some away, and still have cap room to go after a Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard to pair with AD and Hames.
Portingus is a 7’3” SF coming off a torn ACL. And he did ask for a trade.I do understand how the NBA works. Look at what the Knicks got for Porzingis. Not a ton for a guy like that. He's not AD but he is a top flight player. NY didn't even have a trade demand either. If you expect to get a franchise player for AD your crazy. If ball and those guys are 20 mil a year players then it's a hell of a deal for quality wouldn't you say? The thing is Ball is nowhere near that level yet. Kuzma could get there soon but not yet and Hart is TBD as well. If it goes into next year without a trade the value will get worse for NO because they will keep losing leverage every year he isn't under contract and the fact that he wants out. So they have to find out where he wants to go and then pull off the best package which limits their options.
Latest offer: Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley and two first-round picks in exchange for Davis and Solomon Hill, who is set to make $13 million next season.
Magic trying to give them everything except HIV.Latest offer: Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley and two first-round picks in exchange for Davis and Solomon Hill, who is set to make $13 million next season.
I still hold out for Hart instead of Rondo, Stevenson, Beasley.
When you look st the teams AD has said he will sign an extension with, it is hard to see a better trade than what Lakers have offered.Magic trying to give them everything except HIV.

The latest I have heard rumor wise is they threw in Ingram and some more picks, but here is my question for AD. Do you really want to go to L.A. sign a long term contract to play with an aging Lebron and no one else with no immediate help coming in the future. L.J. is going on 35 and most likely will be gone before A.D. contract is up and then who is he going to have it will be worse than the Pelicans.the Lakers’ first offer of Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Rajon Rondo, Michael Beasley and a first-round pick.
Basically it is Ball, Kuzma, and a pick since Rondo has been there done that and Beasle, well is Beasley.
That isnt a rumor, it's been reported alreadyThe latest I have heard rumor wise is they threw in Ingram and some more picks, but here is my question for AD. I could see the Lakers trying for a 3 year run with LeBron and AD. Plus I could see a couple of other higher profile guys wanting in on the action even if it's for less money.
I think NO will wait till after the season, take a better offer than the Lakers can offer from Boston or New York, and then he’ll just go to LA after his contract expires. The Pels don’t give a crap where he prefers to go.
Except NO is trading Randle and Mirotic as well.I don't see any way they've offered this. But if so NO should take it. Rondo, Stephenson, Beasley are all on 1 yr deals so Pelicans would have money freed up to sign a couple of free agents in off season. Ball, Kuzma, Ingram along with Randle, Holliday and Mirotic not a bad core then try to sign another couple of mid range guys and draft well they could be pretty good. If you don't want Ball bring Phoenix into the deal and maybe get Josh Jackson
It is hit or miss. AD and Lebron are not enough to win. But with those two you can attract top talent and possibly have enough for another max contract - Kwahi, Butler, Thompson, Ariza, Rubio. The latest I have heard rumor wise is they threw in Ingram and some more picks, but here is my question for AD. Maybe that happens but L.A. thought they would get Paul George after one year that didn't happen, maybe Kwahi decides he likes Toronto and stays. Seems like there are not a bunch of players lining up to play with L.J. and it they don't get anyone, A.D. will be in a big hole looking up.It is hit or miss. AD and Lebron are not enough to win. So you then have AD, James and Leonard with filler pieces like Hart and Zubac. That is a pretty strong staring group.
James then ends in 3 years and you have another max slot with 2 30 year olds.
