I bet that if Cal landed Kuminga, he would find a way to start Jackson with those guys in a title game so he could say he was the only coach to take five freshmen starters to a national title.

I think most of us are just seasoned, now, to believe it when we see it. These kids, their handlers, other schools, they love this misdirection ********. Just love it. It's so much fun!!! Seems kinda juvenile to me, though.

Enlighten me when I made a wrong prediction, I’ll wait. I don’t go around touting to be an insider and making predictions. In fact I can only remember ever starting a post one other time and was spot on that one.
Cory Evans did say on the recruiting board that UK and Duke were possibilities for Kuminga. So who knows?
You've been around a while, since 02 and have way more likes than posts, so I'd say you're a good dude. So are you saying you're confident enough to start a thread about it? I'd bet for sure he reclasses, I have no idea about his recruitment though. I did hear he wanted to part of a super team, not sure we'd be there even with his commitment. This would mean poor EJ would be gone for sure, no way even a mature EJ plays over Kuminga.
Three days ago I was under the impression we had no shot at Kuminga. Tuesday I heard Cal has been working on him and he was looking to Reclass. Yesterday I heard it from someone else and today again. I started the post because I’ve seen this information no where else online. That’s very unusual. Typically when I hear things I also see them on Twitter, on here and everywhere else online. That’s why I decided to post it.
The ? Mark in the title was because I’m unsure. The fact 3 people all told me a very similar story makes me think there must be truth behind it. I trust all 3 of them, but I tend to take these things with a grain of salt.
I don’t claim to be an insider. In my line of work I work closely with a lot of large D1 programs as well as professional teams. Through that I know a lot of people connected to the teams included coaching staff. I in no way said it’s a done deal, I just stated what I heard which is the staff thinks it’s a good possibility. Just surprised no one else is talking about it and wanted to start the discussion.

Why wouldn’t EJ play the 4 or 5? If EJ leaves due to being recruited over it’s because we have more than just Kuminga coming in. Guys like Haarms, Richards returning, etc.
You also said “hearing it is likely he is on next years roster” leaving one to assume that someone basically told you it was a done deal. Just curious if there is more context to that
Usually when the info gets out, the commitment goes south. It’s like the player or inner circle gets mad that the info gets out, plus gives other coaches time to work on the recruit to change his mind if he in fact picked UK.
So, if (when) he doesn’t end up at UK which excuse will it be?
a) something changed at the last minute
b) these are kids, they change their mind
c) he definitely was coming to UK and then family/AAU/high school coach pushed him to XYZ school
d) it was a done deal but he wanted to be “the man” so he is going to ABC school
