Time to stop speculating and let’s just ride with Reid, EJ, and Nick. Hopefully EJ and NR are ready to step up.
So his dad said he isn't playing again. Get over it people.
How many people have to tell you that's not what he said before you believe it?
Fake news, amirite?
You've shown yourself tonight, thanks for making it clear. So his dad said he isn't playing again. Get over it people.
So, I've read this entire thread, and I've come to a couple of conclusions.
1) You're kind of a jerk. Not sure if you are one in reality, but you are definitely a jerk store on this board.
2) You don't know anything or have any sources. You actually let it slip in a post where you said "I think he can play". I thought you were sure he was done for the year?
3) You are rolling the dice on being able to say "I told you so" if he doesn't play again. For some reason, being right about this seems really important to you. Very weird and creepy.
4) You cast our players aside if they don't win enough for you. That's bush league, dude. All most fans want us effort, and PJ has given us that for two years.
All of this is IMO of course.
that is a factA well thought out lucid response. It doesn't mean a thing to the intended as the intended is a trouble-maker...
PJs dad's comments dont sound at all like PJ is shutting it down. Its clear hes calling out the fans who are jumping off the ledge and telling them to chill the eff out. He's saying stop berating PJ, treat him like he was your kid with an injury. You wouldnt harass your own child. He came back to help win a title, and sitting obviously wouldnt help that. I actually feel better about seeing PJ on Thursday after reading his dad's comments.
So his dad said he isn't playing again. Get over it people.
He knows, but trolls be trollin, it's what they do.That's not what he said.
You're starting to appear as dim-witted as the mediocre-looking bimbos in your avatar.
So your opinion is that every single person involved in this is lying thru their teeth, but you saw right thru it? Cool story.I don't think he will play again either. It is weird how they handled it.
IMO - he never went and saw a specialist on Wednesday. He was in a cast and they didn't want him at the open practice/media interviews in a cast. I'm not sure why, since they knew he would have to show up in it the next day at the game.
Cal knew on Wednesday PJ had no shot of playing this weekend but danced around the question. That is why I don't believe anything the UK people are saying right now.
I hope I'm wrong and I hope we win tomorrow so that he has a chance to play next Friday.
He knows, but trolls be trollin, it's what they do.
HotWell, even trolls have higher standards regarding their taste in women.
@why_not_kentucky appears to have a taste in women that screams "Panama City Spring Break emergency venereal disease clinic."
We’ve had at least 20 lottery picks since Cal got here and not a one dat out to protect their draft status this is one of the dumbest assumptions being made! And we all know what happens when you assume to know things!Lol. It’s not complicated. Read the quotes and article. PJ could play. Cal expected him to play. PJ is a projected lottery pick now which was not the case this time last year. It is what it is. PJ is not playing because they want to make sure his NBA future isn’t compromised. I get it. At this point the slightest injury is a risk when you are a lottery pick. Just call it what it is.

Some of these people will call him a wimp if he don't play on a stump.PJ will be an amputee by tomorrow PM.
I don't read it like that at all.So, I've read this entire thread, and I've come to a couple of conclusions.

Really? You actually believe that after J.V.? Cal has getting the kids drafted as his first priority. Don't know how anyone can deny that. I'm not saying it is wrong but, it's the way Calipari sees it. I can see both sides. We’ve had at least 20 lottery picks since Cal got here and not a one dat out to protect their draft status this is one of the dumbest assumptions being made! It's as simple as you. Daddy said PJ no play. Wtf can't you get it through your empty skullThat's not what he said.

It's time for spring football anyway. You've shown yourself tonight, thanks for making it clear.

Not to mention they can vote as well. There are some seriously foolish and abnormal people considered normal.
Think about this too; a lot of them have drivers licenses...
[roll]That's not what he said.

I don’t read a lot of bashing. There are a few who fit the profile you describe, but many more who are simply frustrated by what appears to be a business decision. Not to mention the lack of clarity around what’s really going on. Not to mention Cal’s contradictory comments. The only people bashing PJ Washington and his injury are the biggest freaking losers on this forum. the negative nancys who wait for anything to go wrong and the trolls who pretend to be Kentucky fans. They are also the Fanatics who put Kentucky basketball head of anything in life. The ones who would sacrifice their own child for number 9 and probably care more about basketball than their family. Those are the people upset about this and the ones Washington Senior is talking about

Folks on twitter seem far more juvenile and inappropriate than folks on this board.
"Hump, what hump?".Abby Normal... (A great classic...)
You're always whining about something. It isn’t none of our business if PJ is sitting out because of a business decision (which he isn’t). Why would you want him to play anyway if he isn’t 100%?I don’t read a lot of bashing. Exactly, if he’s not 100% means he can’t give 100% effort and could hurt the team! You're always whining about something. It isn’t none of our business if PJ is sitting out because of a business decision (which he isn’t). Why would you want him to play anyway if he isn’t 100%?
I can see a sprain like this keeping him out for a while. I remember back in 1983 when Derrick Hord sprained his ankle and he tried to play against UL but was still limping around after about a month. I think if we win today and he gets cleared next week then he'll play. Let's just hope he gets over it by next week.My God, what comedy!!! Such drama and NOBODY has a clue.
This just gets funnier every year. This is REALLY REALLY simple. PJ will play if he is cleared to play. There is no conspiracy, little green men, angry daddys, NBA underground railroad or any of this other blithering nonsense.
Athlete. Athlete hurt. Athlete don't play. Athlete better. Athlete plays. So easy a cave man could understand it.
Not some of you apparently. Just grow up. We compete with what goes on the floor. Injury is part of the game. It takes a lot of things to win this tournament. Luck is one of them. You better be damn well hoping our luck changes.
But some fans must think they are doctors and coaches. The coaches aren't doctors and let's leave it to the doctors and treat PJ like our son.Okay.
When he plays in this tourney will you leave. for good? Not at all. I know for a fact PJ is done.
Sure I did. I just know what is true and what isn't. That should not rile anyone up. Beleive it or don't.
