My gut says Z is the only one with a chance to come back. UGO and Bradshaw both have camps of people in Lexington with them. UGOs camp wanted him to go last year. They want money and they want it now. Bradshaw is with Klutch and have connections to get him drafted on potential. Big Z is just kid from Croatia. The other 2 it’s really not gonna be their decision. It will be the camps decision.
Ugo bucked against his handlers last year, but I agree it will be interesting to see what he does.
Regarding Z, my main reason for thinking he leaves is because of his age. He's already 20. That's not old, but the NBA has a funny way of treating players after a certain age.
Bradshaw is beginning to hit me as the type of kid that's going to make his own decisions. Plus, I think he's enjoying college and realizes his body just wasn't ready to make an impact as a 7 footer that just began developing his peremeter game. I'm fine with any player leaving who has a guarantee to go anywhere in the first round. I doubt he gets that guarantee and Cal sells him on coming back to work on his game to get into next year's lottery.
History tells me that 2 of these 3 will declare for the draft. I like Ugo, and think he has a solid place on next year's team. I hope AB or Z returns for another year. Two of these three, combined with the two big freshman, and we are in good shape at the center position next year.
None of the 3 may return, but I don't expect any more high school centers to have serious interest in coming to UK next year.
