The biggest question for me, besides his overall lack of experience as a HC, he inherited the Coastal program, he did not build it as a hc., he was working for seasoned veteran head coach and a very good one at that. I am not saying Schnall is going to fail here and I hope he does great, but I have my doubts at the moment.

I will be interested in seeing his full staff, but Bill Cilento coming here after 17 years at Wake tells me a little something!

CCU fans seem pissed at Schnall. Didn't realize he'd been at CCU as a player or coach for 28 of the last 31 years.

Maybe it was hard for Schnall to leave Coastal - it had to be. Maybe he wasn`t sure, needed time and/or Donati was evaluating possible interest from others. Better than pulling a Cremins or whoever the CoC coaching hire that backed out. Who was that by the way? We aren`t going to know for sure unless Schnall talks about it, which I feel is good. No leaks that I`m aware of and that`s always good. Better than Tom Herman being on the way in a plane.

Yeah, I would think they're not to happy with him! I heard people supposedly in the know say he would never leave Coastal for Carolina!

I find it interesting that Schnall and Lemonis are ready to schedule each other. We may see Chants vs Gamecocks in 2027. And I'm good with that. Why was that not done in the past?
