Not so much that it's a bad lost as the way that we are losing. Losing on effort is not a great way to lose.
Also when we played Virginia Tech we hit a million threes which is uncharacteristic for us. We did not hit those same threes today. That plus no effort on defense and blocking out equals the result that we are seeing.

win or lose fight like this ( which we also showed against KU ) will serve dividends down the line.

This team doesn't value the ball. Gotta fight harder for rebounds and take care of the ball. Especially this stage of the game.

They've "gave up" on plenty of defensive rebound opportunities... do we not count that?

They're freshman. Not even all-senior teams are tuned in 100% of the time.

UCLA is still UCLA.. Lots of players last year from a pretty great team..

You guys are waaaay to hard on this team for not even being January. Step back and remember just how young and inexperienced they are.

UCLA prioritizing clock management over scoring is helping us. It is imperative for us to lock down the glass after a missed shot. UCLA is rebounding like half of their misses this half.

Everyone excusing lazy selfish basketball can go eff off.
