Make sure you get there early sCUm fans. Piss bags and batteries will be given out as you get through the stadium.

Depends on the game time. IF it's 11 or 2:30 central time, coloradoans won't be awake yet. They don't get going until 4:20 local time

Just as long as they don't take a cheap shot or hit on any NU player especially Adrian, I could really give a crap about Colorado, most of them will be high and won't really care by the 3 quarter

I’ve already made arrangements for a motel in Boulder for a few days and I’m planning on being there..

Awesome atmosphere for a game but some of their fans can be ruthless..

Be interesting seeing how this works out by keeping the red out...

As for the game, I figure it to be another close one, but I would love to see a result similar to say, 2005, 30-3!

Memory services me correct I believe that was the game a portion of their student body were removed from the game in the 2nd half for throwing debris on the field..

If the University of Colorado is going to rile up their fans... they better hire more security also.
Every time I hear of fans being riled up like this, I think of two things: Ten-Cent Beer Night and the latter half of "Slap Shot".

Just nobody be a douche and wear a T-Shirt “Sal Aunese is Dead Go Big Red!
I had never heard that story before watching the Colorado 30 for 30 and got a pit in my stomach when they mentioned it. That was really bad, like incomprehensible, especially for how we perceive ourselves.

I think that helps us. Fact is most CU fans won't cough up that kind of money for a football game, even if it is Nebraska. Nebraska fans, on the other hand, will pay that price.

I don’t know what the face value is for the Nebraska game but Oregon charged $125.00 face value for the game in Eugene in 2017..

I’m guessing $ 80-100... I could see season ticket holders selling their tickets in around the studuim since they have been warned not to sell them in the secondary market..

Furthermore... CU has tried this before. Every year we played in Boulder they made the same plea to their fans. Didn’t work then when CU was a championship contender, so my money is on it not working now either

Exactly, they will wait until the Nebraska fans show up the day before and on game day.

I do love how what Nebraska fans did at Notre Dame in 2000 fundamentally changed how they handle tickets there. Legendary.

Which means they will be cheaper on game day relative to if they were permitted to sell freely online. High supply, small window. Win for Husker fans who show up without tickets.

There's always some a-holes that do stuff like that, hope we don't see it again. I met Sal Aunese at the old University Hospital in Denver on Colorado Boulevard when he was being treated, he looked good at the time, very pleasant person. He passed away just a few weeks later.

Funny, on ticket sites games like Stanford (in boulder) start out at $19, while Nebraska starts out at $167.
Colorado is just as excited for the Boulder beat down as we are. By the 4th qtr you will only hear chants of HUSKERRRR.... POWERRRR.... from an all red crowd.

We will not be denied!

I used to work with someone closely connected to CU. He played football there and his dad was a regent. He said Aunese was a complete douche early on when he arrived at CU. Had 2 convictions for beating up fellow students, the second one resulting in the victim spending multiple days in the hospital. However, according to my friend, Aunese had a total change when he became a father and was really making a strong effort to turn his life around. Then he got the stomach cancer. A real unfortunate situation.

BTW, the phrase "Sal is Dead, Go Big Red" was coined by Jay Mariotti of the Chicago Sun. Doesn't make it any better, but he plugged it as what should be NU's theme or rallying cry for the 1992 game.

I attended every game there except 1 from 1990 thru 2009. Only 1 incident where some guys were harassing an older couple until we stepped in. Generally speaking, show up, go to the game and there is the general verbal banter that happens everywhere. Walk around their campus acting like you own it and...yeah...they will act up. Same as anywhere else. Great place to watch a game.

I plan on going to the game. I have both cousins and old Nebraska friends living in Denver and its easy for me to get to. Just drive two hours and half hours to Spokane and two hours later I am at DIA. I've probably been to at least a dozen games at Folsom and have always had a great time. This is going to make it harder to get tickets, but one cousin has pretty good connections.

I took my Dad to a CU-Huskers game many years ago. As we’re driving in to Boulder on Highway 36, there it is, hanging over an overpass: A huge banner that read “F@&k The Huskers”. Pure class all the way. They still HATE Nebraska. So much for coexisting, lol. Yes, I will be there. I’ll be the guy in RED.
