You want to talk B.S calls how bout Courtney Green bailing out you guys on that phantom foul late in the game a few weeks back? RH barely got breathed on and the whistle came out! That was a flat out embarrassing call and you guys know it . Karma is a b!tch! Take the L and sit down….You weren’t beating Iowa on this day even if you got that call. Oh and it WAS the right call . Harper was in the cylinder…
Iowa is a bunch of pussies who only have shooting going for them. We embarrassed ourselves today by losing to you little girls. Fran mccaffery and his sons are a bunch of bitches. He’s a disgrace to be from Philly. Him and his kids would get eaten alive

JBo had the same call go against him vs Wis this year. Opponents elbow to his chin.
Iowa fans were also pissed.
Very unusual call.
Good luck in the Dance.

This isn't true. Geo Ron Cliff etc all lot of contact taking it inside no calls. Ron face and nothing contacts fouls. A bunch of other nothing soft calls. You shot a billion FTs. Acknowledge you got the whistle all night at least or go away
Iowa did get the whistles. No arguing that. Question is if it was undeserved. looking At some of the fouls called against Rutgers, you can argue they weren’t fouls, and you can argue the same about some of the fouls called on Iowa. The one called on Rutgers that I thought was garbage was the double T with Connor and your player. Your player did nothing and Connor was talking trash and bumped him. The cylinder call was textbook by the book. Harper was in his cylinder. That should be called every time. The rule was clarified a few years back for this exact purpose. Again, if you go to the Iowa boards and see any post about Bo, you will see that he hates Iowa and never gives Iowa any calls. He’s out hunting Fran every game. Basically what I’m saying is that Iowa fans = Rutgers fans on this. You can literally substitute the names out and swear the Iowa basketball board is this board after a loss.

At any rate, I thought it was a well played game by both teams. Good luck tomorrow. I think it’s too close to call. It’s hard to believe they would leave the number 4 seed out and select 4 teams from the B1G lower than Rutgers but stranger things.

ok first lets say Iowa deserved to win so we get that out of the way. You guys played another very good game and when you make shots very hard to beat.

The FT disparity especially vs a team that shoots a lot from the perimeter against one who does not was glaringly one sided

The "cylinder" call--why don't we see that every game, multiple times /game? Because it happens literally all the time. Its a ******** call. there is no one who would look at the video and think Ron fouled him. And to reverse the call on video I believe is also not allowed. Maybe I'm wrong about that I believe I read yesterday they can't reverse a common foul. Regardless that was not a foul on Ron, it was indeed a foul on Keegan and it kept Keegan in the game when he was going to go the bench for a reasonably prolonged period of time.

And yes the T on Mulcahy also was ******** as you correctly pointed out because he like literally did nothing.

The 2nd T on our bench was kind of unclear and the game was over by then anyway but seemed ridiculous and grandstanding by the ref

and I don't many would argue that Boroski has a personal vendetta against RU. I think we (and that means the entire B1G) think that Boroski sucks massively at his job and yesterday was our turn to get screwed.

Good luck to Iowa except for the absolute scumbags who (unprovoked) came to our board yesterday afternoon to rub our noses in it. I hope they get a stinging, burning case of bloody diarrhea.

Good to hear you guys hate Bo too and your post is reasonable. The game should have been closer and if we made a few easy shots early it would have been a great one. You guys are hot. If we meet again I hope you cool off by then. Also hope Bo is not allowed anywhere bear either of our games from here on out.

The only problem I have with the cylinder call is it was made on a review. My take there was they were going to not call the flagrant on Murray. Reversing that initial call is BS. If they called it that way to begin with I still don’t like the rule but you have to live with it.

The cylinder call would be fine if Murray was attempting to make a basketball play i.e. shooting/passing/dribbling. Swinging your elbows is not a basketball play.

I mean if someone is in your cylinder you can literally punch him in the face and the foul will be on them? If not then what's the difference?

I believe if it was the other way around the foul would have been called on Ron.
Anyone who thinks the refs call the game evenly has not been paying attention.

It s pretty clear this guy needs investigating but I don't think the Big gives a hoot anyway most of their refs stink
What you need to see is what % of the foul calls on Rutgers he made in these games. IDk just suggesting the logical next stat.

Kylie was just going up for a layup - Marcus Smart elbowed in the face.

Foul on Smart
Kyrie to the line.

I was at the last Cavs game vs Brooklyn, and the same thing happened in that game.

Sounds like a different situation. You can get hit in the face in the paint and the foul is on you. That’s been going on since the wicker baskets.

Completely different than standing your ground and getting elbowed by a guy trying to create space. He stepped forward, swung his elbow to create space and then was going to shoot. I would be okay with a no call there but reversing the call on the court was heinous and the rule is bogus. You have to be allowed to play D in that spot. we got away with way more physical Defense in many games. But the reversal is wrong IMO. Rule needs to be adjusted.
