Yes, they have done 6 background checks in the history of Kavenaugh if I'm not mistaken. But that doesn't mean they have investigated this incident. Come on, you are smarter than the crap you write. It isn't absurd at all to think and understand this instance was not in the scope of previous FBI investigations. There is no proof the FBI spoke to anyone related to this instance, there is no filing of any sort on the instance, there is basically nothing but a meeting 6 years ago between the accuser, husband and therapist that the public is aware of. And that meeting wouldn't be in a FBI investigation due to privilege.
Tired of American tax payers paying for all these witch hunts.....She is tainted and not a victim that waited until the 11th hour. Guess this event wasn't important when he was a circuit judge but is now?....May as well welcome her to the thunder dome of Politics

He should have picked from a list of 3-4 females. Or at least picked the female. Now they get to run on President Grabsthembythepussy and all male Justices (including predatory Bret) overturning Roe and possibly striking down prior conditions. Less than ideal, imo.
Thread has officially gone off the deep end.

You and your brethren continue to say the same unknown. No matter how many times you state the lie your side puts out, it is simply unknown whether or not this accusation has any merit or not. So, why not investigate in order to get rid of any cloud of doubt? Answer is the GOP cannot allow an investigation and still have a chance in hell of putting Kavenaugh on the bench.
That’s what the Senate is trying to do. She’s being uncooperative, as the FBI has no jurisdiction into this matter in its current form. You’re a liar. No federal crime has been alleged or committed. Constitutionally, it’s the Senate’s job to investigate candidate. There isn’t even a formal accusation. It’s been 60 days, why hasn’t she filed a police report?

You’re a lying lying liar man and you know fvckall about the constitution. Oh, btw, if you’d offered me $100, I might have let you.

IMO, this is about Roe v Wade and future elections.

Honestly this really is what the fight is over. Abortion. I'd be willing to put it to a straight up or down vote among the people. All the rest of this is just window dressing.

We should have a Convention of States to see if we as a society prefer to amend the Constitution to include a right to "Human Life" among the Bill of Rights? Call it the 28th amendment..."The Human Life amendment". Let the States vote on it, see if we can get a 3/4's majority (38 of 50) to add this to the Constitution and get it out of the politicization circus in the Courts.

I don't think the GOP tried to hide the fact their intent behind the delay of Garland was tied to the upcoming election. Democrat voters certainly knew that a vote for Hillary also meant a vote for activist Justices, similar to how GOP voters knew exactly the type of Justices Trump would nominate if he were elected. There was a clear choice, and the voters decided who they wanted to make those picks. The only ones who don't accept the voter's wishes are Leftists.

Elections have consequences...remember who said that Keyser?

Aren't you one of the brighter ones in this thread on your side that said it is nothing but a he said/she said? So why now are you advocating her to testify without any investigation of the instance and presented with some context by professionals? Nice flip-flop.

The irony here is all of the "investigation" Ford wants done could have been done in secret, even without her name being used when she handed that letter over to DiFi. What was holding up an investigation by the Democrats on that Judiciary committee after Feinstein knew all about this? Why wait until just a few days before the committee voted to recommend him to the full Senate then carp about needing an "investigation" into this charge?

If it wasn't so obvious this was simply a delay tactic of that vote it would actually be funny. But this poor girl if her story is true, is simply being played for political purposes which cheapens the whole abuse issue for those who truly need to be believed when they make a charge similar to this.

This case is not credible.

Ford didn't wait until the 11th hour. She wrote her letter begore Kavanaugh was nominated. She spoke with her representative shortly after writing the letter. I have no problem with complaints about how Feinstein handled this. She should have pursued this sooner.

I agree 100% with this! If Kavanaugh's alleged behavior were that much of a concern to the Dems, DiFi could have BOTH honored Ford's legitimate wishes not to be personally involved as well as taken all the time she needed to investigate Ford's claims then question Kavanaugh about the results of the investigation. She sat silent for nearly two months during private meetings with the nominee, as well as during the public confirmation hearings! At the last minute before Senators were ready to vote, she rolls out her letter and tosses it like a grenade into the proceedings, blowing up the whole process and helping no one...not Ford, not Kavanaugh, and certainly not the American people who are infuriated over this circus act!

She is entirely to blame for this fiasco IMO, plus whoever offered this as a strategy for her to stop Kavanaugh form being seated on the Supreme court which is all this is.

I suspect this Dude:

Even after he is confirmed, they will trot out this tired old charge again and again and again.

They have done it in the past, and they will continue doing it because it has worked for them.
