I'm sure he's an altar boy at Sunday mass as well, but if I remember correctly, Kavadas was the one who last week told reporters they would come in here and wipe us out 2-0 with ease. I didn't hear Rowdey, TA, or anyone on our side saying in public that we were clearly and easily going to whip their ***.
I don't have anything against the guy, certainly don't hate him (and that ball he hit was 17'ing impressive), but some players choose to be humble and give the other team credit before the game, say "they're a tough team", "should be a great series", "we'll go in there and give it everything we've got and see what happens", etc. But the altar boy is the one who chose to go the other way with it. If you talk **** like that, obviously you better back it up, or at least be ready to take the verbal whipping that's coming your way with a smile. He poked the bull. I'd say he volunteered to catch some horns.
