Nah dummy, I was laughing at him for thinking he's a Baller because he has a $10 subscription and another person was a broke *** because they didnt. It was the context of his insult that I had a problem with. Why does everything have to be explained to you.

It just goes against his fake tough guy act. You guys love the fake tough guy act. That's why he misses 30+ games a year and you think he's a tough guy. Teams with legitimate depth unlike the wolves can sit players for multiple games at a time and it not matter lol. KAT just cost his team a playoff spot because of that 2 game suspension. Embiid can sit out the next 25 games and the Sixers would still be a top 2 seed. Also Embiid has never claimed to be a tough guy lol. So its not his act its your assumption. I dont owe a former Kentucky basketball player anymore loyalty than I owe a Sixers player from a team I grew up rooting for same as Kentucky. I said KAT and Embiid both were at fault and I never changed from that position. I only ever said anything about KAT or Embiid to Keyser because he gets too easily worked up. You’re really reaching to make embiid seem tougher than he is. Load management? That’s not why embiid misses. Okay maybe it’s why he misses but if he’s already doing that at...25 years old it’s because he’s physically fragile and been hurt a ton. IE, soft.

I can see where being better on defense is a valid argument if it’s an effort thing but KAT has never lacked for effort. Rebounding is effort and KAT averages a double double for his career. He actually averages more than embiid. Rebounding is one of the more physical aspects of the game because there’s no way to be good at it and avoid contact. KAT up to now was just not good at defense.

The playoffs thing is a terrible argument for two reasons. One was already mentioned. The EAST has been awful compared to the west for several years. And 2, it’s a team game. KAT can’t control the fact that jimmy butler is certifiably insane, a team cancer and didn’t want to be in Minnesota anymore and Minnesota management giving a player that truly couldn’t give a **** a max contract. The Wiggins deal is probably one of the biggest miscalculations by a teams front office in a long time.

Lastly, I respect the hell out of KAT for being able to bite his tongue through all of that and continuing to just quietly do his job despite the fact you know he realizes it all and is probably dying to speak up. It’s not his place to though and he has a sense of awareness unlike so many players in that league.

If KAT were ever soft it was in high school when he wanted to play on the perimeter too much but Cal and Kenny Payne fixed that permanently. Soft big men don’t work out at UK.

Skal was and is still soft. SKJ was soft. KAT? Definitely not and there’s really no good argument for why embiid is tougher.

I mean Joel has played in and won playoff games and series. I think KAT has been to the playoffs once just barely and probably shouldnt have because they fell from like 3rd seed to 8th seed when Butler got hurt. Regardless another reason was because Joel is the best defensive big in the league and up until this year KAT was one of the worst and least versatile big defenders in the league. He's gotten better this year though. He...like Jokic will never be very good defensively though because they are crafty and smooth but they dont have elite athleticism or defensive motors.

Embiid made it to the 2nd round in the East by beating a bad Miami Heat team in 2018 and a bad Brooklyn Nets team last year. The East is weak sonits easy to.make the playoffs and he got to play weak teams in the first round, then he got dominated by Al Horford in 2018, and Marc Gasol made him literally cry last year.

KAT made a Final Four and led the team with the record for most wins in a season on NCAA history. Embiid didnt even play in the NCAA tournament because he's soft and always hurt.

They were like us, they had all that talent and lost 10 games. 8 with a healthy Embiid. Who knows if they wouldve gotten their act together like we did.

Embiid averaged only 11 pts per game at Kansas. If he was supposedly this titanic force that "no one could stop" in college, then don't you think he should've averaged more than that? And don't you think he would've started more than only 20 of the 28 games he played?

And, btw, the majority of Kansas' 10 losses that season occurred BEFORE they lost Embiid.

Embiid certainly showed huge promise in college, but he was not yet the sort of unstoppable force that you are describing. And that Kansas team was very beatable with or without him.
