That didn’t look like a peacemaker choke hold to me. The first thing Towns did when he got up was point to his throat. I call BS on the Sixers claim. I’d suspend Simmons as well.
Good for Kat. Embiid is always clowning but eventually someone will have enough like Kat did. As far as Simmons goes, that’s the weakest argument for a choke hold I’ve ever seen. They’re actually good friends and you could see him talking to him trying to calm him the whole time. His arm went actually went around his neck for a second and everyone is posting screenshots to make it into something else. It was mostly him trying to break it up and keep everyone from a worse suspension

The fact Ben Simmons gets nothing once again shows there are protected players in the league. I mean not even a fine. He gets in a mans back and puts him in a choke hold. Do that in any other arena of life and you have a very good chance of getting arrested. Even the coaches cleared the benches. But Simmons was a “peacemaker”. Why is every official in pro sports absolutely full of crap these days?
On a slight side note, I can’t remember an era where officiating across the pro sports leagues was this awful. Sure, you had a few crappy ones here and there. But these days it just seems every pro level official is either blind, incompetent, or seemingly on the take. If you don’t believe that, go look at the recent Packers—Lions game. I never believed much in a rigged NFL, but that game sure made me think about it. These guys get paid to absolutely suck at what they do. To watch instant replay and still get it wrong. Mind blowing.

I’m gonna need valid argument for a why Joel Embiid, constantly hurt, never played more than 64 games in a season, and in his 6th year has played less than 50% of his games for his career, is tougher than Karl Towns who has played nearly twice as many games in one less season, never gets hurt, and went 3 and a half years without missing a game?

I mean Joel has played in and won playoff games and series. I think KAT has been to the playoffs once just barely and probably shouldnt have because they fell from like 3rd seed to 8th seed when Butler got hurt. Regardless another reason was because Joel is the best defensive big in the league and up until this year KAT was one of the worst and least versatile big defenders in the league. He's gotten better this year though. He...like Jokic will never be very good defensively though because they are crafty and smooth but they dont have elite athleticism or defensive motors.
Embiid made it to the 2nd round in the East by beating a bad Miami Heat team in 2018 and a bad Brooklyn Nets team last year. The East is weak sonits easy to.make the playoffs and he got to play weak teams in the first round, then he got dominated by Al Horford in 2018, and Marc Gasol made him literally cry last year.
KAT made a Final Four and led the team with the record for most wins in a season on NCAA history. Embiid didnt even play in the NCAA tournament because he's soft and always hurt.

I know KAT still reps Kentucky and I love that but most of those guys could really give a **** less about the school that they played for. Also it doesnt really matter who you are playing as long as you get there. The Sixers are one of 2-3 favorites to win the NBA title this year. The Timberwolves are probably the 10th or 11th best team in the west. Also I dont want to be that guy but most guys cry during big losses like that if they care about their team at all. I mean we've endured some pretty tough losses as Kentucky fans and seen those guys crying after huge losses including KAT so bringing up crying is kind of dumb. Are you going to make fun of Fox for crying after the UNC loss? No you won't and in fact we loved that Fox showed that emotion. Think these things through before you type them.
