It's not so much that they have lower academic standards than us, they have an agreement that if you graduated from a Kansas juco with a pulse, they have to take you.his team looks very good tonight vs Tex a/m.--fast and well coached. is he still skimming JUCO players? if i remember right, the academic standards at K state are lower than ours, allowing them to take some recruits that we couldnt.

Seriously learn something before u open your mouth. There are a total of 3 starters on this years team who are junior college transfers. But please continue this idiotic narrative. Bottom line, the man can coach period. It's not so much that they have lower academic standards than us, they have an agreement that if you graduated from a Kansas juco with a pulse, they have to take you.
Dude chill out. I didn't say anything bad about Snyder. I happen to think he is a great coach. I was speaking to the fact that there is an agreement(or whatever you call it) between Kansas jucos and Kansas universities that allow them automatic admission as long as they graduate from the juco. It's why Clinkscales got into KSU when nowhere else would accept him.Seriously learn something before u open your mouth. Great coach and a great evaluator of talent. I wish back in 2008 Nebraska would have offered him the job
No one has ever done more with less than Snyder! He would do even better at Oregon State. And if he had similar results at Nebraska as he does K State since 2008, he would have been run out of town after 2 years. IMHO

Not a K State fan at all. But yes great coach! He would of won 11 games with are team this year. I know a lot of guys that say he is old and is done. Texas A and M had a lot better talent than K State. I knew K State would maybe sneak up and win this game not surprised.

What do you think his record would be at Nebraska? It's all conjecture, but I'm convinced multiple national titles.Ok great. But Nebraska fires coaches when they don't win conference championships. Bill Snyder has won only 2 Big 12 titles and 2 outright North titles in 25 years. He did great things at Kansas St. winning 2 out of every 3 games, with losing seasons, but that gets you replaced at Nebraska.
Really. No way he loses to Wisconsin even are Mr. .500 about beat them. He coaches we beat Iowa by two touchdowns. He isn't Mr. Rogers nice guy.No he wouldnt

Why? His teams beat Nebraska on ocassion and they had 11 win seasons there but couldn't win it all. Why would he be able to win it all here? He and his staff don't bring in highly rated classes, he coaches like an underdog, playing not to lose. They try to slow the game down, limit possessions and steal wins. When he plays teams with more athletic ability, or a team that does what they offensively only better, they lose more than they win, as you can see with his 8-10 Bowl record.
If he coached Nebraska we would be Iowa 8 wins many years, an occasional 10 win season, and a losing season every once in a while.
Wrong, his recruiting would be dramatically better. K State is harder than Kansas to recruit to, Oregon State would be much easier for him. Don't think for a second he would have the same record at Nebraska, that is so naive.

I've met Bill at least 3 times and he may be the kindest and nicest coach in football. The guy is humble, modest and treats you with respect. For you to say he isn't Mr Rogers nice guy, I get your jab at Riley, isn't at all accurate.

I would think with Nebraska football resources he would have won some conference championships. KSU is probably one of the toughest places to win at.And if he had similar results at Nebraska as he does K State since 2008, he would have been run out of town after 2 years. IMHO
Great, great coach. I like him. He will be in the hall of fame and deservedly so.
Ha. I forgot he was already inducted. And deservedly so!Opinions about Snyder's coaching ability or career are meaningless because he is already in the College Football Hall of Fame. He was inducted in 2015 which goes to show that he is well respected by the National Football Foundation and past winners.
Now back to the meaningless arguments about his accomplishments and if he is a great coach... Winking
