I got Jimmy Graham in exchanged for woe-is-me Julio Jones. Best TE in the game - feels good man!

Championship.

I bet the other guy is as excited as you are. Graham is great but he won't see near as many targets as he did with New Orleans.

Uhhhhh......Gronk?

It's a pretty even trade overall w/o knowing all the particulars. Graham has the position scarcity thing going for him. Who'd you have at TE previously, and who is stepping into Julio's spot?

As a Saints fan who had Graham on his fantasy team last year, let me tell you that the other guy feels pretty good. Graham had A LOT of crucial drops last year. Or at least it felt that way. But hey, now he has Russell Wilson instead of Drew Brees! Oh... Damn.

And I've got Julio in 3 of my 4 leagues, mainly because I think he's going to have a monster year.

I'm sure he feels the exact same way... Julio is arguably the #1 WR, for a TE not named Gronk. Jimmy's targets are going to be way down as well. It's bad value if you didn't get anything else. Top 10 player for one outside of the top 30.

I really hope you're just trolling, because if you're serious, that's a terrible trade for you.

I don't know if I'd call that a trade rape. Looks pretty even to me because Graham is trending down and he's with Russell Wilson now instead of Brees.

I just read Julio leads the league in receiving yards per game the last 2 years (min 16 games played over 2 years)

How he convinced you to think you were getting the best deal is what should be applauded. With those WRs, you won't win the league. Keep an eye on the waiver wire.

You had them as your bench players? Surely not. Maybe the better way to ask it is who replace Julio in your starting lineup that wasn't already in it before the trade?

i think you got the bad end of that deal. He wont be the same away from NOLA. Still top tier TE but JJ is going to fill up the stat sheet

^^^^This^^^^

I would much rather have Julio Jones than Jimmy Graham, especially after you told me your other WR's. Russell Wilson will only throw 20-25 a game and maybe five to Jimmy. Julio will be a top five WR this year with 8 to 12 targets a game. Jimmy? I doubt he will do much better than top ten. You got hosed. I would just as soon had a half dozed TE's as Jimmy this year. Gronk is the only TE worth going after in the early rounds. I would have loved to have gotten him.

You still could come out on this though. It is fantasy football.

I completely saw "date raped this guy".

Was going to suggest outing yourself a little more subtly.

Yeah because OD BJr doesn't meet that 16 game limit. OD B Jr is the #2 in my league behind Antonio Brown cause he gets tons on return yards as well.

Ummm, not bad? Graham had six receptions on eight targets for 51 yards and one touchdown, and Jones hasn't played.

I agree it wasn't a one-sided trade, but Graham didn't really lay a turd

I shouldn't talk after the worst fantasy day in my history, but Julio Jones is one of the best players on anyone's roster. I'll take that trade any day. Surely you jest that all you have left is D. Jackson (IR could happen) and the kickofff returner named for a precious metal. If so, you're dead already. It is hard to get points from the TE spot, but JG is far from a sure thing on a new team.

In my league (ppr), graham had 17 points. A solid day. Except Julio dropped 40. Luckily I had Julio and am in line to be 1-0 and win the high score for week 1 and the $50 that goes with it.

LOL.

I've got Julio in one league. Played Graham (and Lynch) this week.

Julio went for 15. Graham went for 1. Uno. Single.

I think you got robbed.

Good. Leave it up there. As soon as Julio gets hurts, I'll be sitting pretty.

Currently, Julio is on pace for an unreal season. But you're entirely correct that he could get hurt.
