That's usually how outbidding works. One side decides the player isn't worth going any higher for and bows out.
The fact we offered santos any money at all to come here is the sad shape we are in as a program.
The only logical reason I can think of if the staff wanted a veteran backup to play behind Moreno who would be fine with a limited role and limited minutes and they thought he would be willing (probably after striking out on multiple back up centers we never heard about get leaked). And even then, it's wild that is the one we landed on.
How do you know UK offered him anything? Did an official document from UK get posted stating they offered him a roster spot and x amount of money ....how did I miss that...lol

maybe we should be like the UL board . i was kicked off there for nothing . Their mods refuse to delete a post making fun of one of our players birth certificate that did not list a father . I said they had no class and got kicked Off .
Maybe this board should do the same with regard to negative posts about our coach . They ARE COUNTERPRODUCTIVE at this time .

He can flat make adjustments as evidenced by how many times we came back in the second half .
