How about not getting out coached?
How about managing time-outs and the clock like an average high school coach?

The compensation of game management been a problem with the past 3 Head coaches and they have all been at blame enoubh times helping in our W/L colum.

Yeah, I hated beating back to back ranked Mizzo and Okie State. I hated beating Ohio State and Michigan. It sucked playing in back to back conference championship games. It sucked beating the **** out of Minny and MSU.

Bo and Carl both treated me very well and were easy to work.with on a project. I know several players who played for them that absolutely loved them- fiercely loyal because Bo loved them and had their back.

However the lack of self awareness was awful when it came to turning the players against the fans. Bo was a train wreck on many game days and it didn’t help the team or the University.

Bo loves football and coaching kids- but his thin skin and inability to self control just doesn’t lend itself to being gainfully employed over the long haul. He needed to go and I like him for the most part.

Today’s equation just isn’t a good fit for Bo Pelini

Honestly, I'd call him a hell of a position coach/coordinator when he was in his prime and an above average head coach that wasn't nearly good enough on the field to offset all his other bullsh*t.

I actually don't have any hatred for him, so I'm not worried about my judgment being clouded. I think he had run his course and it was time to move on. Had he won more, he would have been given more leniency. But I feel the leniency he was given was more than enough for the results he was producing.

I've never thought our downfall was firing Pelini. Our downfall was moving to the B1G and who we replaced Pelini with.

Wrong, It’s obvious our downfall was when Eichorst was hired as the AD and he wasn’t competent hiring a head coach and had to ask another AD from the Big10.

Hiring Riley was idiotic, and the whole fan base thought SF was our savior and bring us back turned out to be the biggest disaster that could’ve happened.

And to this day we are paying for the decisions our past 3 AD made for us, Moving to the B1G was a smart decision by TO and Perlman, that’s a notion you want to believe but that hasn’t been the issue.

Though I generally agree with your overall premise, I don't agree that there's this finite line into perpetuity at 9 wins where anything over it let's you act however you want and anything below it throws out everything else you're good at out the window. That's the part a lot of fans struggle with. It's all fluid. Things like severity of the actions, time with the program, how bad the losses are, expectations, etc all play a role. Bo had run his course. It was time.
